Perkins Pier Park is full of drug use. There is a small playground that is not safe for kids. Majority of people park there to smoke weed and use other recreational drugs. Just brought my kid to enjoy the lake, playground and to chase seagulls, but we left two minutes later because 5 different vehicles were using Marijuana and smell was unbearable and none of them cared that there were families. They use drugs and then drive. Huge safety issue. Why is there no police traffic there??

Wouldn't we all love to claim a beautiful lake view spot to set up camp for the summer? A large tent along with a pile of detritus has appeared on the grassy knoll opposite Blanchard Beach Perhaps our new mayor will give some consideration to allowing taxpayers and visitors to enjoy our parks and bike paths this year? There are thousands of public acres more private that people can squat on without commandeering public parks, please enforce the law Residents are not allowed to live in parks so stop letting people pitch their tents along the lake and bike path Would love to know what would happen if we pitched a tent in the mayor's yard? The police chie's yardf? The council member's yard? Stop letting individuals take over our publicly funded parktlruetna Enforce our laws or else why are we payingoure very expensive public servants If we're going to live in anarchy then city employees not or ablewanting to fix this should quit so we coul use those funds to build rooming housesgs for peop Ten houses, twenty roomsThis isn't hard or expensive, definitely cheaper than throwing millions to motel owners Just do it Are all you elected officials owned by the motel owners? do it to?ik

We know this installment is a tribute to the late Burlington icon “Byrdman”, but it has been on display for over a month now. Are there any plans for it to be removed? It really is an eyesore and will negatively impact the farmers market that will be starting soon.

Sumac, climbing vines, and Knotweed are harming the trees planted along the bike path. Sumac grow as tall or taller than the trees and faster, shading them out, Vines wrap around the trunk and branches and do the same, Knotweed is an invasive species and becomes harder to control the longer it is allowed to become established. I counted 12 trees with issues in the section between Staniford Rd. and Shore Rd. Can the parks department cut back the sumac and vines around the trees? Most can easily be cut with a pair of lopers.
