DrainageReconocido75 Bilodeau Ct Burlington VT 05401, United States - Burlington Electric
I was surprised to see this issue marked as "resolved" To my knowledge, none of the many neighbors who provided testimony that validates the concern have been notified that this issue has been remedied Nor has any work been done to correct the significant issues caused by poor drainage and the absence of any storm water management beyond the crossroads of Bilodeau Ct and Bilodeau Pkwy Please provide documentation of the steps taken that have resulted in the numerous concerns presented as having met the determined threshold for "resolved" I'm happy to request this documentation in more detail through a different process if needed, but want to begin here

DrainageReconocido237 Gazo Ave Burlington, Vermont, 05408 - Burlington Electric
Dear Burlington Public Works Department,
I am writing to follow up on a recurring issue that I initially reported two summers ago, but unfortunately, remains unresolved. The problem is located at 237 Gazo Avenue, where a residential sump pump is discharging brown water onto the sidewalk and road.
This issue poses a significant safety risk, particularly during winter months when the discharged water freezes, covering the sidewalk and road in a layer of ice. This hazardous condition increases the likelihood of slips, falls, and car accidents.
I would like to suggest a potential solution that I have observed in downtown Burlington: installing storm grates in the sidewalk to redirect water flow. This seems like a feasible and effective way to mitigate the issue.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could look into this matter urgently and take necessary steps to resolve the problem. Please let me know if you require any further information.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
William Webb.

DrainageReconocido1628 North Ave Burlington, VT, 05408, USA - Burlington ElectricI have been fighting with the City of Burlington for over 3 years to fix the storm water runoff that goes into my driveway. I am sitting in my living room and watching it pour into my driveway from the storm melt across from North Avenue. They have come twice and vacuumed the water out of my driveway as well as the neighbors. I contacted them yesterday and they advised me that I am done if it needs to be pumped call a septic company. Also the City clearly advised that the curbs were constructed incorrectly and causing some of this issue. I need to be vacuumed again before in ends up in my basement - liked it already has to my neighbor.

DrainageReconocidoPearl St & Clarke St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electricthis is the entrance to our parking lot on Pearl Street. As you can see, after it rains there is a very large pooling of water at our entrance because the new curb that was installed doesn’t allow the water to flow to the catch basin. Is there something you can do about this?
