  • Howard St & S Winooski Ave Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
Now that St Paul has been freshly paved, cars are once again speeding at all hours of the day. The crosswalk at the top of St. Paul/south union is dangerous; few drivers stop to let pedestrians cross and sometimes do not stop even when pedestrians are crossing in the crosswalk. The visibility of this crosswalk is not great because of the uphill and curve in Shelburne street at this intersection. Children use this crosswalk when walking to school or to the park. A crosswalk indicator light would really help identify this crosswalk in hopes that it will increase safety for pedestrians crossing the road.
  • 112 Dodds Ct Burlington VT 05408, United States - Burlington Electric
Request 4 way stop sign at Shore and Dodds Very difficult to see eastbound traffic on Shore from the south extension of Dodds due to road curvature and fence. Multiple collisions are barely avoided per week due to stop shorts and swerving by Shore traffic

High levels of speeding up/down Battery passing College. We suggest putting in a camera that catches speeding cars & motorcycles. It can be done legally (see Boulder, CO approach). The police don't ticket speeders, nor is there a sound ordinance about noisy mufflers on cars/motorcycles.
  • Dodds Ct Burlington, Vermont, 05408 - Burlington Electric
Would like to have speed bumps put in on Dodds Court
  • 118 Shelburne Rd Burlington VT 05401, United States - Burlington Electric
I'm writing to request additional signage to the non existent signage about the right lane merging here. It is dangerous to drivers and pedestrians alike. This problem has been like this for FAR too long.
  • 35 Hayward St Burlington VT 05401, United States - Burlington Electric
With the closure of St Paul, traffic calming is desperately needed on Hayward between Howard and Marble Diverted traffic is speeding down Hayward, like it's some free-for-all raceway Please put in temporary speed bumps or something to slow people down!
  • 61 Cross Pkwy Burlington, VT, 05408, USA - Burlington Electric
Traffic calming/speed bump please! There are no sidewalks on our street and people at the end often drive incredibly fast and there are always kids playing so it’s super dangerous.
  • S Union St Burlington, Vermont, 05401 - Burlington Electric
New speed bumps need to be shaved.
  • North Ave & Sherman St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
I believe this crosswalk could benefit from flashing signal buttons like ones at other mid block crossings. The recent addition of the sidewalk bump out has helped a little, but many drivers still do not yield for pedestrians in the crosswalk. The curve of the road seems to put pedestrians in drivers’ blind spots, which sometimes makes for dangerous situations. I would feel a lot safer crossing with my young kids if flashing lights were installed here. Thanks for considering this request.
  • 257 N Winooski Ave Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
6 Vehicles parked in BIKE LANE. Inadequate signage. Creating ongoing safety hazard for bikes, pedestrians, vehicles.
  • Lakeside Ave & Pine St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric

The pavement markings at this intersection are creating some dangerous conditions, this needs immediate attention.

Pine st, right lane heading south: too narrow, drivers don't realize there's a turning lane, almost got sides wiped there today

Pine st, left turn lane heading north: two sets of pavement markings, both equally visible, creating confusion about where the turning lane is. Almost got hit head on there today.

Please get it together guys. I spoke with someone from PW about this and they claimed the dept wasn't aware of it... This is right outside the PW office, there is no excuse for it to be this bad. It's unsafe and irresponsible to leave the markings in that condition.

  • 192 Elmwood Ave Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
There is an awful speed bump that might’ve severely damaged the undercarriage of my car. It is completely black and blends in with the road on the northern most part of Elmwood avenue. I went over it at 10 miles per hour after slamming on my brakes and I think something could have seriously been broken. I go over it at 3 mph now. It needs to be marked or taken down. It is damaging and people with low riding cars and people who don’t know it’s there are at a serious disadvantage. Not to mention the insurance claims. Please mark it very obviously. There are others on pines st and east ave just like this one, I believe.
