I am wondering if a “single vehicle parking only” sign can be put in here. Parking Services is called here multiple times a week for a blocked driveway violation, and I feel with stated sign put in, this would cease being an issue and Parking Services can focus on higher priority matters.

There is no legal way to cross the intersection of college and south Winooski I was walking east on college needing to go south on s Winooski and could not legally cross the road. I have walk-in disability and there still is no improvement in this intersection for a pedestrian . .

    Hello.

We need a speed bump here to control traffic speed.

    Thanks,

    Andrew

  • Washington St & Manhattan Dr Burlington, Vermont, 05401 - Burlington Electric
Please evaluate the intersection of Manhattan St and Washington St. There is concern that the sight lines require vegetation to be trimmed and that the turning radii may require bigger No Parking Here To Corner areas to allow for turning movements
  • 2-38 Rose St Burlington, Vermont, 05401 - Burlington Electric
Please put the third planter to keep people from parking in this locations it is dangerous to be blocking the intersection. Public Works has not fulfilled its promise to do this a promise made in the winter. Please complete this before the snow makes it impossible.
  • 40-40 Rose St Burlington, Vermont, 05401 - Burlington Electric
The request for a third planter remains ignored by Public Works. Cars are able to push the two planters together. Please remedy this before winter snow comes.

With the temporary speed bumps removed, can we please look to alternatives? Lighted signals at crosswalks from Pennington to Starr Farm would go a long way. Even with the bumps present vehicles still wouldn't stop for pedestrians. This stretch of north ave does see people exceeding the speed limit, in some cases, well over the posted speed limit. I don't think speed bumps are the answer, but flashing lights, or a speed table like what's been installed on pine street. Would also love to see a stronger presence from BPD.

Please restrict parking on Farrington Pkwy near Ethan Allen Pkwy to one side of the street only during the time that C.P. Smith Elementary is letting students out Or provide a traffic control officer at the intersection (in addition to the crossing guard
This area becomes an unsafe traffic jam daily ),

My husband has a back problem and he has a handicap placard. If there could be a designated parking spot for him near our home, it would help him get into the home safely. My son needs this as well.
It would be beneficial to our neighborhood if additional handicap parking was designated throughout Franklin Square.
  • Manhattan Dr & Oak St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
The yield sign at this intersection combined with the difficulty of seeing around the corner to Oak if traveling north on Manhattan Dr makes this a very dangerous intersection, particularly if you aren't turning onto Oak but are instead continuing on Manhattan. "Yielding" to turn is also insufficient as it is a 90-degree angle and requires nearly a full stop to safely make the turn, but then cars behind the turning car are not expecting a full stop. Please consider making this intersection a three-way stop.

Customer came in and stated that his son lives at 418 St. Paul Street and when the paving was done in this area they white lines were painted over where the residents park on the street and a truck was hit by a driver because lines were painted over and never painted back on. Would like to see a sign for traffic too move to the left so vehicles are not heading towards the parked vehicle. This is at the intersection of Howard, St. Paul and So. Union
