Open drug use, needles and trash everywhere and intimidating behavior by a large group near corner of Bank st and Centre st. Meanwhile high school kids are walking by here to school and to and from city market all day. Please do something.

Walked down church street to get my kid's bike around 5:30 pm Friday from the outdoor exchange. In 5 minute stroll, I was asked by eight different people for money. Tourist next to me was being aggressively shaken down for money when they offered pan handler food. Businesses are reporting 30% to 40% less revenue and constant vandalism and theft. People have other choices to spend their money. Businesses will eventually move or worse close. City is trying to make cuts but $8 million deficit gap can be partially attributed to lost tax venue.

Sleeping in the public right of way and private alcove should be not be allowed. People leave their trash behind and urinate in nearby alcoves.

Many of this group are sleeping, smoking and urinating on our front step carpeted entryway to our business. Kens' Pizza and Pub. Fire hazard and the urine smell is not good for business! This happens during the night and all morning. Our business is usually closed by 10pm nightly and staff arrives 11am. Thinking of a metal gate across, but we have already spent thousands of dollars on security doors to keep our tenants safe.
