Vt-127 Burlington, Vermont, 05401 - Burlington ElectricCustomer called and requested that the Yield sign that used to be at the entrance of the Beltline from North Avenue, near Allliance Church, be put back up as she stated that the vehicles coming on the Beltline from this location are just pushing traffic out of the way to get on the Beltline making people push over and almost going off road.

Loomis St Burlington, Vermont, 05401 - Burlington ElectricIt has been more than a year since DPW stuck gray concrete tubs along Loomis street & North Willard. they are eyesores & road hazards when & now ,magnets for litter and graffiti. If a private company bhehaved v like this, City hall would take them to court.
This area is under enough stress without City Hall adding to it.
When will DPW clean up its mess? -
31 Village Grn Burlington, VT, 05408, USA - Burlington ElectricGrove Street is an extremely dangerous road as people travel at a high rate of speed last year a car came up the hill and took out the corner of a duplex at Bayberry Commons. Thankfully the residence were in a different room, or they probably would’ve been killed I called over a year ago and asked that speed bumps be installed on Grove Street to slow down the traffic I have yet to receive a response and nothing has been done Greenup day. I had to keep yelling at people to slow down as we were trying to clean up the sides of the road. I would like a response on this issue as soon as possible. Thank you Susan Winston.

East Ave Burlington, Vermont, 05401 - Burlington Electric
at the intersection of East Ave and University Rd there is a three way stop that is often overlooked and cars drive straight thru. I commute this way from the UVMMC parking area to the hospital and have been nearly hit many times... even when I'm on the cross walk!
Please make these STOP signs more visible. (The one down the road has blinking lights connected)I'd also like to request a side walk on University Rd.
Thanks for your time! -
Cottage Grv Burlington, Vermont, 05408 - Burlington Electricfeeling frustrated and concerned with how fast people drive down our street because it's long and straight. We also don't have sidewalks, so it feels dangerous taking Fletcher for walks down the street. Do you know if the city has considered putting speed bumps/tables on Cottage Grove like they did on Tracey Drive?

15 Stanbury Rd Burlington, VT, 05408, USA - Burlington ElectricI didn’t see a link for comments on the current pop-up “sidewalk” along Stanbury Road, so I’m commenting here. I love the idea of a sidewalk on the east side of the street there, but I’m concerned that some of the wider versions don’t leave enough room for car traffic when the west side of the street is full of parked cars. In particular, there needs to be sufficient room for a car on Stanbury to wait for traffic on Staniford AND allow for traffic from Staniford onto Stanbury.

Unsafe crosswalkReconnu64 East Ave Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
At the intersection of East Avenue and University drive, this is a crosswalk used frequently by employees of UVM Medical Center. The crosswalk is poorly marked. Further on a nearly daily basis, I observe drivers failing to travel safely through the intersection. Cars barely slow down and occasionally completely miss the stop sign heading west (toward Main St).
I would like to request a lit crosswalk sign at this intersection and improved pavement markings and stop sign visibility.

Depot St & Penny Ln Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricFor the 50th+ time in the last few years... I was almost run over by a car blasting through this intersection at 45 mph+, completely oblivious to pedestrians already in the middle of the crosswalk/railroad crossing. Long-time residents and businesses on Lake Street have submitted multiple police reports and traffic calming requests to the City over the last decade as traffic and reckless driving on Lake Street have significantly increased each year. This report is no doubt a duplicate of a half-dozen others about this same intersection that have been ignored, archived, and deliberately forgotten about. Is it really going to take a pedestrian, child, bicyclist, skateboarder, and/or pet to be run over and killed before the City will do anything?
