I am continuously being honked at every day watch people run this red arrow traffic signal. It is illegal to go Right on a Red Arrow, and keep being honked at, given the middle finger, and sped by aggressivley when I do not go right on red here. I believe that a "No Right on Red Arrow" sign of some sort would make this intersection feel safer!

There has been a curb built in to our driveway for years, and it is taking a toll on the vehicles that use this side of the driveway; repairs will be necessary, and expensive.

On street parkers often get confused by the curb and park too close/block the driveway.

BTV HAS A WORLD CLASS BIKE PATH AND WE LOVE IT BUT THE ROUTE TO THE COLCHESTER BRIDGE VIA NORTHVIEW DRIVE AND THE RIVER'S EDGE CONDOS IS NOT MARKED CLEARLY.
MORE SIGNS, PAINTED LANE ON THE STREET, AND PERHAPS A MAP WOULD ALL HELP.
    THANK YOU.
  • 208-244 Shelburne Rd Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
This has been and continues to be a place where people need to cross Shelburne Street, and since the temporary crosswalk at Adams was taken out, there's now no way to cross safely for a full half mile between the crosswalk at the new roundabout and the one at Prospect Parkway. People cross the road with no crosswalk quite often in this stretch — not only to get to the Adams and Alfred Street northbound and Hoover and Birchcliff southbound bus stops, but also just to get to where they're going on foot. It seems ludicrous to expect that people will walk half a mile out of their way to use one of the crosswalks, and, in fact, people don't. There should be at least one or two additional crosswalks on this stretch to accommodate foot traffic. A lot of people live, work and walk in this area and the pedestrian infrastructure is basically nonexistent. Why not make it easier to be a pedestrian on this part of Shelburne Street, maybe slow traffic going into the roundabout as a bonus, and give people a safe place to cross in the places where they're going to cross anyway?

During winter months with the snow build up, having parking on both sides of the streets makes the road too narrow for two-way traffic. Parking should be one side only during the winter months.

Need more "No Parking This Side of Street" signs in this area.
  • 107 Farrington Pkwy Burlington, VT, 05408, USA - Burlington Electric

    Hello,

I am a citizen of Burlington who regularly bikes through this area of the NNE to commute to work, shopping, and recreation.

Currently, there is an excess of cars parked on both sides of the street that narrows the lane to such a degree that it feels unsafe. People in oncoming cars will very often fail to yield to people on bikes before passing way too close.

The amount of space the private vehicles are taking up on the public roadway is a nuisance and increases the risk of injury to vulnerable road users.

Please consider limiting street parking to only one side of the street here.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

  • 1-99 Myrtle St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
Is it possible to get a ‘No parking here to Corner’ sign on the corner of Myrtle and Park? There’s always somebody parked very close to the sidewalk making it difficult for anything larger than a compact car to make a left onto Myrtle. When I do so, I have to make a super wide turn utilizing both lanes of Park St.

There's a significant parking issue surrounding Crispy Burger. Mostly cars blocking the road and sidewalks.
  • 1 S Prospect St Burlington, VT, 05405, USA - Burlington Electric
Concerning Bus Route #8's morning service, a new driver has been stopping at the University of Vermont Medical Center parking lot on South Prospect Street, which seems like an unauthorized stop.

Requesting No Parking Here to corner on both streets to allow the fire truck to be able to turn safely when responding to an emergency.
  • Locust St & Locust Ter Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
Wondering why is there not a stop sign from locust terrace leading onto locust street? I was biking down locust terrace today and a driver did not stop, almost ran me over, then gave me a shrug to imply, "well there's no stop sign" and i was surprised to see that indeed there was not a stop sign here. Seems dangerous.
