Traffic calming requestReconnu173-209 N Prospect St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricWe live on the corner of Colonial Sq and N Prospect, an area that frequently experiences high speed vehicular traffic. This is also an area with high pedestrian traffic, including numerous young children living in the Colonial Sq neighborhood as well as a daycare program at Ohavi Zedek Synagogue. As nearby residents, we are requesting a traffic calming feature on South Prospect, in front of Ohavi Zedek, to reduce the frequency of vehicular speeding.

Flynn Ave & Oak Beach Dr Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricNow that Flynn Ave. is nicely paved (thank you!), some people think it's a race track and drive too fast. I don't believe there are speed limit signs yet. Perhaps a roadside speed feedback machine could be placed on Flynn Ave to make people aware of both the speed limit and how fast they are driving?

Barrett St & Chase St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricIt seems like people are joyriding through the park. This area is highly unsafe for the people who live here. Please monitor this area and take note of the reckless driving - please find ways to help us feel home on our own neighborhood streets. The traffic is destroying this historic area.

Appletree Point Rd & Burlington Greenway Burlington, VT, 05408, USA - Burlington ElectricRequesting stop signs for vehicles at Staniford Road at the Greenway intersection. Speed and limited visibility to and from the populous Appletree Point Road neighborhood creates regular safety hazards and driver confusion despite Greenway user caution.

St Paul St & S Union St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricThere needs to be an indicator light at this crosswalk. Cars routinely speed down the street and visibility for the crosswalk is poor. Unless you are standing in the shoulder, cars rarely stop for pedestrians. This is on the walking route for students going to many schools and it is dangerous.

Shelburne Rd & S Willard St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricI just came within a second of getting tboned by someone going 50mph into the rotary, didn't even slow down. Whatever signage is there is NOT sufficient. This project has already failed at its core purpose, to keep traffic moving better and safer than before. I don't know if we need flashing lights or giant overhanginf warning signs to alert drivers. Whatever is there doesn't work. How many peolle have to die in collisions this rotary before the design gets reworked?

245 Loomis St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricDespite recently installed raised cross walks traffic continues to drive very fast on Mansfield Ave - I have noticed no calming as a result of these efforts and I am very concerned about the planned removal of the stop signs on the corner of Mansfield and Loomis as the traffic will then move even faster and will be worse than before the work.

2-6 Archibald St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricMotorists are not stopping at the stop signs here. Am talking multiple cars in a row all day long in a school zone. It is dangerous getting our children across the street here. How about a flashing red like the othrside of the ONE has?
