Traffic Signal ProblemsReconnuHome Ave & Shelburne St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricHome Ave is backing up all the way from Shelburn Rd. to Pine St. We're seeing tons of angry-fast cut-through traffic on Scarff Ave as motorists leave Home Ave to try to reach Shelburn Rd Southbound.
Can something be done to change signal timing and/or encourage motorists to use Flynn Ave (not backed up!) instead? This seems like it may be related to the Pine St. detour. Photo taken today at 3:45PM from Wells St looking west along Home Ave. -
Traffic Signal ProblemsReconnuColchester Ave & East Ave Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricIf biking east on the shared use path on Colchester Ave it is very difficult to get from the shared use path onto Colchester Ave heading east at the intersection with East Ave. There is a pedestrian button that you push. When the pedestrian signal turns green the right turn lane has a no turn on red but the straight lane gets a green at the same time the pedestrian cycle turns green basically making it impossible to merge out into the lane in a safe manner. Please extend the red light for traffic traveling east on Colchester Ave to allow a bike rider on the shared use path to merge into the travel lane since there are no bike facilities until past the cemetery at this point. Or any other upgrade that would allow a user to head east from the shared use path towards Winooski in a safe and timely manner.

Colchester Ave & Fletcher Pl Burlington, VT, 05405, USA - Burlington ElectricI previously reported that the RFB on Colchester Ave at Fletcher place only has one sided flashing lights. The RFB at Kampus Kitchen and East Ave have dual sided flashing lights. The issue was closed out as resolved but nothing was actually done. Please upgrade this RFB on a major road with high usage to be safer by having flashing lights on both sides of the sign on both sides of the road. Previous issue that was close but nothing was actually done - https://seeclickfix.com/issues/16107048-traffic-street-signs-report-problem

Traffic Signal ProblemsReconnuPlattsburg Ave & Sunset Dr Burlington, Vermont, 05408 - Burlington Electricthis traffic signal is not accessible to people who are blind/visually impaired. Please install an APS so that people who are visually impaired can have equal access to the visual pedestrian signal and allow them to cross at that intersection safely and independently.

Plattsburg Ave & Sunset Dr Burlington, Vermont, 05408 - Burlington ElectricThe traffic light isn't working properly and traffic is backed up.

Traffic Signal ProblemsReconnuNorth Ave & Shore Rd Burlington, VT, 05408, USA - Burlington ElectricA left turn arrow is needed in order to turn left onto Shore Rd from North Ave. This morning I had to sit through three light cycles in order to safely turn left onto Shore. Multiple vehicles are running the red light going straight on North Ave, including the city bus.
-
Riverside Ave & Bright St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricThe crosswalk should have the flashing yellow light systems installed so pedestrians activate the lights and cross safely. There are a number of children/youths who ride the bus and cross Riverside Ave (at the cross walk at Bright Street), but there is no stop sign for vehicle traffic. There are pedestrian signs, but the roadway is congested with parked cars, bus traffic and dangerous for those trying to cross at busy times of day. The city has put these flashing lights in places with adult pedestrians - Pine Street, East Ave, & Pearl Street. This family complex on Riverside Ave needs the same safety!

Champlain Pkwy & Home Ave Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricCrosswalks beep 24 hours a day, which I can hear from my residence nearby. I understand the beeping as a guide for those with visual impairment, but shouldn't they only beep when someone presses a button? Especially in this low-density residential environment.

245 N Champlain St Burlington, VT 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricThe "no parking when blinking" sign has fallen off the pole and is sitting on the greenbelt. It's on the West side of the intersection of North Champlain St. and Manhattan Dr.

572-598 Farrell St South Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - South BurlingtonOne of the snow ban lights has become turned out of alignment, so as to no longer point east on Farrell Street.
-
136-168 Church St Burlington, Vermont, 05401 - Burlington ElectricPleas adjust/fix the timing of the light at the intersection of main and Winooski for morning commutes (possibly evening too) please add a left turning light, the absence of this causes major backups. I am assuming since this is a brand new light that these are reasonable requests

Traffic Signal ProblemsReconnuShore Rd Burlington, Vermont, 05408 - Burlington ElectricThis request has been made numerous times, but seems to be dismissed. There NEEDS to be a left turn green arrow (or advanced green) from North Ave to Shore Rd. People are forced to rush it when it turns green in order to turn left, or sit through the light for 2-3 cycles (at times). Someone is going to get seriously hurt at this intersection if an advanced green light is not added. It has been a problem for years, but has gotten significantly worse over the last few years.
