Parking Enforcement IssuePotwierdzone50 Lakeside Ave Burlington, Vermont, 05401 - Burlington ElectricTwo cars trying to park in a space that doesn't accommodate 2 full-size vehicles. It should be marked as such. This will happen all day. Dark grey Volvo 4door crossover. Thanks for all you do to keep our driveways unobstructed.

Ethan Allen Pkwy Burlington, Vermont, 05408 - Burlington ElectricPer CP Smith school staff, we've been instructed to drop students off in front of the school on Ethan Allen Parkway. The parkway is an artery for the neighborhoods past the school and I've had many close encounters of narrowly passing vehicles as I try to get out of my vehicle to unload my kid(s). Vehicles coming out of the neighborhood are slowed temporarily by the speed bumps, but quickly regain speed and edge their way by parked cars trying to either get to work or drop their own kids off elsewhere. It's dangerous - and even more so in the winter as the streets become slippery. I fear one slip from my kids could easily result in being hit by a passing vehicle where there's very limited space to pass.

Parking on both sides of the street a hazzardPotwierdzone115 Hildred Dr Burlington, Vermont, 05401 - Burlington ElectricI live at Riverwatch and have for the last 7 years. Parking on the street has gotten out of hand over these years. This past summer it seemed tight but decent to navigate. It is winter now and the street is maintained by the city and the city plows are unable to get through the very blocked city road of Riverwatch. This is now the second time I have seen a city plow unable to make it through the narrow/drivable road. We used to have signage on one side of our loop indicating "no parking on this side of the road", but that signage appears to not be posted any more. Additionally, our stop sign, by the Riverwatch entry sign, has also grown legs and is no longer posted. It would be really swell if the signage could all be posted again to limit parking to one side of the loop, to allow city vehicles, like a plow and or emergency rigs, to safely maneuver through the Riverwatch circle and allow a safer roadway for the Riverwatch residents as well.

SidewalkPotwierdzone12 Howard St Burlington VT 05401, United States - Burlington ElectricThis section of sidewalk is completely shattered and a major trip hazard. It’s just a couple of squares in what is otherwise a fine stretch of sidewalk. It would make a big difference to replace these few squares. Thanks.

Traffic Signal ProblemsPotwierdzone142-150 Lakeside Ave Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
The new signals here are confusing and cumbersome to both walkers and drivers. As a driver, exiting 128 Lakeside to go East, there's often a quite long wait despite no traffic. Drivers traveling either direction on Lakeside can see more than one set of lights, and are sometimes confused which light to use. As a walker exiting 128 Lakeside, especially to head south toward Flynn, there are multiple long wait cycles, often with (from what can be seen) cars waiting in all directions and all (visible) lights red.
I don't have any great solutions, but would invite someone to drive into and out of 128 Lakeside, and walk from 128 Lakeside to City Market. Perhaps consider the light at 128 Lakeside a flashing red at exit, yellow on Lakeside until patterns are better understood?

OtherPotwierdzone119–121 St Paul St Burlington VT 05401, United States - Burlington ElectricBird bikes are using public parking infrastructure as parking hubs when their whole premise is dock-less. Bird is clearly using already over-tapped public bike parking infrastructure for their private benefit. When will more bike parking be added to the city?

Transportation or Parking Improvement RequestPotwierdzone144 S Willard St Burlington, Vermont, 05401 - Burlington ElectricSouthbound traffic on South Willard backs up frequently, but especially at high traffic times, due to vehicles attempting to turn left (East) up Main Street. Traffic can back up in South Willard to College Street and beyond. It would be helpful to have a left turn only arrow for this southbound, left turning traffic on South Willard.
