  • 212-268 College St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
Two parking spaces on college St should be removed and turned into temporary sidewalk due to construction related sidewalk closure at old ymca building. Pedestrians are walking in the road anyway. Continuous e-w pedestrian connectivity is more important than parking for two cars.

  • 131 North Ave Burlington 05401, United States - Burlington Electric
Crosswalk on North Ave at Strong lacks sufficient sight lines on west side due to parked cars. Needs “no parking” area at least one spot north, and potentially south as well (not sure if driveway provides sufficient distance for sight lines). Driveway is also not ADA compliant.
  • Archibald St Burlington, Vermont, 05401 - Burlington Electric
, the busy street of Archibald has no sidewalk running parallel to it north of North Willard Street and the street before this is also missing sidewalk on both sides of the street. On this street, cars tend to park on both sides, leaving a narrow path for both pedestrians and individuals with vehicles. In the winter, this road is often covered in ice as is the sidewalks on the one way side street connecting this road to Archibald Street. I'd love to see Burlington have sidewalks on all streets as well as cross walk buttons/lights
  • 191 S Winooski Ave Burlington VT 05401, United States - Burlington Electric
When you repaint the bike lane on Winooski Avenue at King Street, please install some sort of barrel or barrier to deflect southbound car traffic into the car lane. Cars routinely drive straight into the bike lane instead of shifting left into the car lane.

  • Riverside Avenue At Intervale Road Burlington, VT 05401, USA - Burlington Electric

The intersection at Riverside Ave, Riverside MUP, & Intervale Ave is a confusing, awkward mess.

People riding bikes are told to use the walk symbol. However, activating the "I would like to cross the street, pretty please think of me" button requires one to cross lanes and dismount to safely use it. Additionally, there is then a STOP sign, which customarily means, "Stop motion here and proceed once safe." That contradicts the instruction to use the walk signal. So which is it? Who knows?!

So, we should make this intersection simpler, clearer, and without needless hoops and impediments.

I'm open to what that may look like and I'm happy to give feedback if you'd like.

  • Conger Ave & Lakeside Ave Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
People are parking in the intersection due to the new curb. Greatly reduces visibility of traffic and squeezes the intersection.
  • 279 Colchester Ave Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
Hello! This parking spot used to be a "resident only" spot. Last year it got changed to a 15min spot from 9am-6pm everyday. I put in an appeal to our Ward 1 rep. and after that the sign was taken away, so we figured that was why. Today, this sign was put up. We would really appreciate if this sign could go back to "residents only" given that Kampus Kitchen has 3 spots in front of the store, and the whole centennial parking lot, and this spot is rarely used for the store. We find this to be unfair since the spot used to be for residents, which we use every day. Please call me at the earliest convenience to work out a resolution.
