The traffic on Flynn street coming to Oak Ledge Park is dangerously speeding past Oak Beach Dr. With the volleyball, Frisbee and kickball leagues starting, trucks, SUVs are racing through the narrow pedestrian area to get a parking spot, now that parking is so limited. They are driving like it’s hwy189. Also, since the water main construction is finished, the street is narrowed at the Oak Beach Dr. Intersection, so it is even more dangerous.

We request either stop signs on Flynn at both sides of Oak Beach Dr. and/or speed bumps on Flynn starting at least 2 blocks up from the park and into the park entrance. This should slow traffic somewhat. Also, please consider moving the boulders further out and widening the street to allow for bicycles and pedestrians on both sides.

This area between Oak Beach Dr. And the park is a busy pedestrian, biking, dog walking, family traffic area. Cars should be cautioned to be more careful.

Please consider this before something tragic happens.

I was inquiring on who would be best to contact in regards to getting a
crosswalk put in around South Willard St and Buell St. I am letter carrier that
delivers that intersection, and I have noticed that people are always
attempting to cross that intersection with me everyday. Cars fly by without
ever stopping, even in my postal outfit. That intersection is a main crossing
point for people going to the Howard House at 50 S. Willard, as well as the
Champlain College Hall next to that. And there is a walkway to South Williams
behind 34 S. Willard. Cars go by dangerously fast and I think it would be best
to address this issue before anyone gets hurt. Thank You.

how do people cross Pearl Street here? forcing pedestrians to go all the way down to the crosswalk at Willard or up to the crosswalk at prospect is way too far. we need a blinking crosswalk here.

Lafayette Pl & Orchard Terr - A resident is requesting a crosswalk from Lafayette Pl to Orchard Terr as there are many people who cross to the bus stop or who walk along Orchard Terr.

The residents of Crombie at N Winooski would like to have a ‘no parking here to corner’ sign evaluated to be put in due to how dangerous it can be to get in and out of their driveways.

Given the weather and all that jazz, I’m sure it won’t be any time soon. But they would appreciate if Dan could check it out for them.

When pulling out of the driveway of 74 South Willard st it cane be very dangerous. Due to the parking being on that side of the road, it blocks the view of drivers being able to see oncoming traffic when pulling out. BUT there is a tree across the street that would be a perfect location for a mirror to allow drivers coming out of the driveway to see on coming traffic.

Please add an uphill bike lane to South Prospect from ledge to where the parking starts. The current traffic lane is 14 feet wide and would easily accommodate a bike lane. Also, please add shared lane markings in the downhill direction. Thank you.

There is a need for a lighted crosswalk at this intersection. Cars routinely drive above the speed limit and rarely stop for pedestrians. Northbound traffic has visibility issues since they come up a small hill and around a curb. Children use this crosswalk when walking to school and a real safety issue exists.

Business is requesting a loading zone be designated to facilitate deliveries to their building.

Austin Drive at Red Rock Condos - There is concern for safety with the bike lane in the center of the road, as well as the lane lines that have been painted.
