  • 303-369 Queen City Park Rd South Burlington, VT, 05403, USA - Burlington Electric
Traffic has increased at least three fold across this one land bridge and the entire street since the end on Pine St. was closed. From now until traffic is evaluated after the Parkway opens, WE NEED A TRAFFIC LIGHT!
Many suing this route do not know or comply with the yield sings or the etiquette of the bridge that residents adhere to. It is DANGEROUS. (Even more so that usual.)
I have asked our senior City Councilor about this and have not received a reply.
I do recall that we have had a temporary traffic light set up in this spot in the past when needed. Please take action ASAP to install one again. Thank you.

Ethan Allen Pkwy Burlington, VT, 05408, USA - Burlington Electric
Speeding on Ethan Allen parkway. Maybe consider putting speed bumps on Ethan Allen parkway. Too many cars and motorcycles fly down this street!
  • North St & School St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
Would it be possible to have a flashing crosswalk sign? The crosswalk is faded and barely visible (it was not repainted last year). The signs (and people) are hard to see because the telephone pole blocks the view when driving east. You wait there a long time trying to cross. A lot of people cross here to get to the park, but the cars often do not stop. We need more help slowing cars down and making the crosswalk visible.
  • 255-285 Shelburne St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
Excessive speeding on Shelburne St. in school zone, and residential area, between Prospect Pkwy. and the roundabout. Lack of speed enforcement dictates other traffic calming measures. Perhaps an unoccupied police vehicle parked at Dunkin Donuts. This could also help deter the drug use/dealing in the area as well.

29 Intervale Rd Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
This road is very dangerous for bikers and pedestrians. It lacks a sidewalk or bike lane. The pavement is eroded making vehicles stopping it less easy to stop quickly. There are two curves with poor site distance.
  • 1075 North Ave Burlington, VT, 05408, USA - Burlington Electric
The new traffic pattern the corner of Plattsburgh avenue backs traffic up so that it's hard to get out of Fairmont place you should allow the right turn lane not a good idea to change that

  • Flynn Ave Burlington, Vermont, 05401 - Burlington Electric
Customer called stating that speed limit signs need to be put up on Flynn Avenue, especially from Pine Street down to Oakledge as that is where a lot of speeding happens. Also asked if it would be possible to get the speed bumps put in
  • 2-38 Rose St Burlington, Vermont, 05401 - Burlington Electric
Public works has promised additional planters for the no parking zones at the intersection of Cedar and Rose, and they have not materialized. This was requested in the winter and we were told when the weather warmed they would add them. Still no sign of them. Please follow through.
  • 99 Archibald St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
The new speed bumps on archibald street near my house are way too big and they are dangerous. They are as big as curbs and the angle of the ramp is way too sharp. Going less than the speed limit makes your car jump in the air. Going the actual speed limit will make a car jump so bad my girlfriend scratched the bottom of her vehicle. My vehicle’s suspension is being damaged. If the bumps break my suspension going less than the speed limit I am going so sue the state for the damages. If someone is a bad driver they could lose control of their car hitting the speed bumps at a normal legal speed. The speed bumps two blocks away on walnut street are the same style of speed bump but they are no where nearly as big and the incline is safer. Whoever designed and installed the new speed bumps on archibald did it wrong. You can not endanger drivers or cause damage to civilian’s vehicles. The speed bumps need to be torn out and if they are replaced they must be replaced with normal safe speed bumps.
