191 Bank Street has become very frightening to walk past on the way to City Market. The trash and garbage just thrown on the sidewalk and in the entrance of this empty building is not acceptable, nor is the feeling of intimidation experienced by tourists and residents as they walk past or eat at El Cortijo or come out of the parking garage.
This is an issue that should be addressed by the City and by the Police Department. Why does Burlington continue to look the other way? It is not as if this problem is hidden.It is in plain sight. There is no photo attached, because it would not be safe to photograph this site due to the people milling about at this site.

Blood splattered on sidewalk and store front

This pedestal, with nothing on it, has become a tripping hazard. Not too uncommon for people to be walking, looking at the store fronts or talking to friends and find themselves on the ground due to this ubstruction which is serving no purpose. My mother has just tripped over it, a tourist to this city and now we are at an urgent care where she may receive stitches on her chin.

What has become of Burlington? This is unacceptable City needs to get its act together!!!!...

Please help this person on the sidewalk in front of City Market. It is obvious he needs help. We went next door to Howard Center and never got an answer from their intercom, so we walked to the Mayor’s office and got a less than adequate response when we showed a staff member the pictures and described the scene on the sidewalk in front of City Market. This situation should be addressed and not ignored.

This is a tripping hazard and and an eyesore. We can do better than this.

Church Street businesses vandalized - patio furniture thrown through windows. Hello City leaders - drastic changes are needed to stop Burlington from continuing to spiral down.

This is a blight on our city.
Why has the city not cleaned this up?

The city of Burlington is disgustingly. The Mayor should be ashamed. Walk through the streets and park and see all the people on drugs. Needles in the park. I was going to take a video of the shirtless homeless man running around the park but didn’t. I fear for my daughter’s safety.
