    As concerned neighbors, we have been picking up tenants trash which has its origins at 85 5th street, Stadium District, Tacoma which is behind our residence. This issue continues every week. Landlord does not provide enough trash cans for the volume of trash generated by tenants. The city recyclable trash cans were removed 2 months ago. We and others have brought this issue up to the city of Tacoma and complained on numerous occasions but this problem persists. Now the trash is in the street and cars are running over it...again.

    The chair of the neighborhood council picked up 6 bags of trash left behind after city contractors came and "cleaned" up the trash here Was clean a couple days and is now covered in trash all along road & right of way again Now we are paying an additional 6% excise tax on garbage for the city to make Tacoma sparkle as city council promised so the city needs to get over here and clean this trash back up & clean it like they would the north end aka don't leave it trashy like they did the last time

    Once again, the apartment behind 502 N Yakima Ave has garbage strewn all over the street. The landlord went from three recycling bins to one garbage bin for the entire building, therefore, there is no place to put the garbage. Garbage gets picked upon Weds. so we have to look at this mess. It is a health hazard and an eye sore. When will he be held accountable?
