I observed a white PODS moving/storage container (branded ‘PODS Moving & Storage’ with phone 800-776-PODS) placed on the public street in front of a residential house.

It appears to be unattended and not in a driveway. From the photos attached (taken on September 15, 2025, around 5:45AM), it’s positioned near parked vehicles, a manhole cover, and trees, which may obstruct pedestrian access, emergency vehicles, or available parking in this neighborhood.

I believe this may violate City of Corona Municipal Code (e.g., Title 10 on traffic/parking regulations or Title 18 on encroachments), as portable storage units on public streets typically require a temporary right-of-way permit from Public Works or Code Compliance.

No permit notice is visible on the container or nearby. It’s unclear if it belongs to the adjacent homeowner or someone else, but it’s not a vehicle and seems to be used for storage rather than active loading/unloading.

This has been in place for at least 1-2 days that I’m aware of. Please investigate for permit compliance and have it removed if unauthorized to maintain street safety and parking availability.

Thank you for addressing this promptly.

As you can see, there is debris from the building that is just dumped in the walkway and is making that difficult for people to walk so I don’t know if that needs to be picked up with the building owner or if that needs to be handled by the city, but also there is trash all around the exterior of all the buildings. The trash cans have not been emptied in the parking lot and there’s trash in the parking lot that needs to be picked up that center needs to be cleaned up by the property manager, it is an eyesore.

Flags/banners as company marketing material should not be allowed unless or until the City has the man power to control the permit expiration dates.

It would appear this unsightly banner for Suite B has outlived its date?

I'm following up on Report #20342309. Thank you very much for the work completed last Friday, November 7, 2025. Unfortunately, today we found the chain-link gate damaged again. Homeless activity continues inside the alley and under the bridge.
Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated, as restoring and securing the area in a more effective way will help maintain safety and peace within our community.
Thank you for your continued support.
