The city came out 2 weeks ago and cleaned the sewer drain and look like he ran a snake. The hole is right across the street. After they left i noticed I had black sut in my shower. Now I have had to call a plummer 2 times in the last two weeks because I am now having draining issues.

During a recent fire inspection by a Corona Fire Department Fire Marshall, they said that the dry brush, dead leaves, and other vegetation behind this row of homes is a huge fire hazard as it acts as readily available fuel for wildfires. We reached out to a private fire inspector and they recommended that trees and shrubs need to be pruned as they can act as fuel ladders. Specifically, the dense brush that reaches the back wall can create "fuel ladders" that allow fire to climb from the ground into trees and then onto structures. This vegetation is on city property.

I am writing to follow up on my previous report regarding the alley area under Request #21166640. After contacting Caltrans, they confirmed that this alley area belongs to the City of Corona. Based on that information, I submitted the report to the City. This message serves as my second communication regarding this issue. As of today, the area remains in the same condition. The accumulation of debris and dry vegetation continues to present a potential fire hazard and safety risk to our community.

Traffic light to turn left onto Sampson needs to be fixed to stay green longer. It currently only stays green long enough for one car to turn left. It also needs to turn green sooner as there is a very long lag time waiting for cross traffic light to turn red, even when no cars are in site. This was not an issue last week, but is causing severe traffic issue turning left onto Sampson from lane running adjacent to McKinley.
  • N Mckinley St & Sampson Ave Corona, CA, 92879, USA - Corona
This traffic light is calibrated TERRIBLY. The light stays green for those going straight on Sampson even if there are no cars coming for awhile. Those waiting to turn have to wait so long because the light doesn’t switch over even if there are no cars going straight. It is creating traffic where there was none. When it was stop and go before the lights were functional there was no build up of traffic. I was waiting to turn onto Sampson for 15 minutes.

The traffic light needs to be recalibrated. Traffic was flowing better when it operated as a stop sign.

The light stays green when there's no traffic along Sampson and causes a severe back up for those exiting the freeway.

The street that runs parallel to the McKinley bridge that you take to get to Sampson from the 91 off-ramp. The trafic light that is used to turn left on to Sampson only stays green long enough for one car to go through at a time. Also the light to go straight once on Sampson should be timed to be green at the same time so traffic does not back up. This is a new issue since last week.

The left turn light from sixth Street onto Main Street going north. This light always turns green after sixth Street east and west Flo go first then turns green for literally 2.5 seconds then turns yellow you can never get more than two maybe three cars if they’re all paying attention and are very aware of that life. It’s very frustrating given I drive this route all the time multiple times a day and this light is very short and not calibrated properly. Please have this looked at in the traffic recalibrated and the timing of the life.

There is no time for cars to make the left without running the light because of the crossing guard and the walk timer being too low. Walk sign needs to stop and the light continues being green to let cars go left out of auburndale. Not fair to the residents because we have to run the light every day. The crossing guard is putting the kids in danger because he lets them cross when the timer is at 5 seconds and they’re still in the crosswalk when the east/west light on river is green. Super unsafe.
  • 6th St & S Main St Corona, CA, 92882, USA - Corona
The left turn traffic signal when you are heading south on Main Street at 6th Street is only green for 5 seconds and several cars are not able to turn in one cycle. The lane then backs up with cars waiting to turn left and eventually the amount of cars turning left begins to impede traffic/the lane for cars continuing straight on Main Street.
