    Hello,

I am writing to report a serious safety concern in our neighborhood in the City of Corona. We have noticed that many vehicles are driving at high speeds through our residential area, especially near the small hill where cars tend to pick up extra speed as they come down. This has created a dangerous situation for families, children, and pedestrians in our community.

To help prevent accidents, I kindly request that the City of Corona please review this issue and consider implementing safety measures such as speed bumps, warning signs, or increased patrols in the area.

Thank you for your time and attention. We truly appreciate any assistance the city can provide to help keep our neighborhood safe.

Yes I know your "consultants" say that tract 31955 is not due for Slurry Seal until 2030. I don't want to hear that excuse again. Your public works were here this week and made a crappy 4x4 foot patch on Elker Road which is already falling apart. Your department allowed Standard Pacific to finish this tract without Slurry sealing the streets. Why that happened I don't know except for ineptitude. These streets are dangerous for people who are riding bicycles or walking because of all the deep cracks which your department has thrown some asphalt into the deeper cracks here and there which fall apart within days of the "patch" job. These streets are affecting our home values. The home at 3525 Elker which was in Phase 1A of the Centex homes built in 2006 has been on and off the market for so many days and I have to attribute a lot of the issues to what the street looks like. Elker was the first street built besides the model home area at Corbett and Trudy. $1 MILLION homes should not have streets that look worse than older neighborhoods in Corona.

I know you like spending money on "consultants" and Saavat does exactly what they say to do. You all need to think out of the box and OIK at what is going on here.

How about delegating some of your 6th and Main Street money for Slurry Seal?

it isn’t my job for you to figure where the money comes from and Slurry Seal does not cost a ton of money.

The city needs to investigate why Standard Pacific did not have to finish the roads when they built out the tract. Someone signed off and I want to know why when the tract was NOT FINISHED. I have floated this idea to you before and that is to MAKE Standard Pacific pay for the Slurry or split the cost with them.

I never want to hear the excuse that the "Consultant" said this area of Corona is not in need of Slurry Seal.

The EG HOA was contacted by one Homeowner regarding street paving. The HOA confirmed that do not have any current projects. The Homeowner was referred to the City.

In the Sandtrap / Birdie Circle area of Eagle Glen the posting of no parking was reported on 2/25/26. The signage indicated that for 2 days Monday/Tuesday March 2 -3, from 7a.m.- 5p.m. there is no parking. There is no contact info, it does not state what work is being done and provides not alternative locations as to where to park. It was reported that some community signs read no parking on Tuesday and Wednesday.

If there is a street repaving project - where are the Homeowners to park? What is the contact number for the City for their project in case Homeowners have questions. Streets are reportedly marked with utility locations.

The concern is that the City's notice / lack of information on the scope of work and available parking was not provided and the HOA has no information to provide as they are not involved.

Please provide contact information that the HOA can redirect Homeowners to the proper City contact for their project.

    Thank you.
