Dear City Public Works / Street Maintenance Department,

I am writing to formally report a serious safety concern regarding the street pavement in front of my residence.

The pavement on my street does not extend fully to the house sidelines, leaving a large dirt area exposed. Due to this condition, water from neighboring properties is frequently used and runs into this dirt section, causing the street and driveway area to remain wet and muddy almost daily.

As a result, every time I enter my driveway, my vehicle tires collect large amounts of dirt and mud. Once this mud dries, it creates an extremely slippery surface on the street and driveway, posing a significant safety hazard.

Unfortunately, this condition has already led to an accident. My wife slipped on the dried dirt and fell, nearly breaking her arm. We have hospital documentation to support this incident.

This situation presents an ongoing risk of injury to residents and visitors. I respectfully request that the city inspect this location and take corrective action as soon as possible, including completing the pavement to the house sidelines or implementing another permanent solution to eliminate the dirt and improve drainage.

Please let me know when an inspection can be scheduled or if additional information is needed from my end. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter, as it directly impacts public safety.

I spoke to someone in the Public Works Department last year who said that the Brentridge area would be receiving street resurfacing in late 2025 only to see that very superficial and minimal repairs being done recently. The streets in our neighborhood are in very bad repair. I would like to know where this issue currently stands please.

Not sure what is going on here, but at the intersection of Emory and Barrow, there is water coming up through the street from the cracks in the road if you walk near the cracks air bubbles are coming out from underneath the asphalt.

Sedlock Drive has been in dire need of a repaving for years now. It has never been repaved since we moved into our house in August of 2000 , as original owners. The erosion is so bad that we constantly track gravel into our homes from the street, especially when it rains. In addition there are many many cracks as well. I have submitted inquiries a few times now only to be told, basically Sedlock Drive is not a priority. Well, the city sure seems to take my money as a priority. What do I need to do to get our street repaved??? Please come out and inspect the street!

Can this pot hole be filled in. The pot hole is located in front of 615 S. Vicentia Ave.

Multiple Pot holes all over our street, asphalt junks and loose gravel everywhere hitting our cars! It has been fixed many times, we need a permanent solution for this.
