I’m writing to report a potential fire hazard on my neighbor’s property located at 984 McCall Drive Corona, CA 92881. There is a significant amount of dead brush and overgrown vegetation on the hillside behind their home that I believe could pose a serious fire risk, especially during the dry season.

I wanted to bring this to your attention in hopes that an inspection can be conducted and appropriate action taken if necessary. I appreciate your help in keeping our neighborhood safe.

The large tree behind our house (in the flood control channel) remains overgrown and nothing has been addressed since the request submitted in March 2025 In addition to the overgrown tree and broken tree branch, there appears to be a bee hive in it There was a swarm of bees in our backyard two days in a row, and we are allergic to bees. Please remediate this safety concern immediately.

I would like to bring to your attention a safety concern in the alley area. There is a significant amount of dry grass, which poses a serious fire hazard—especially considering the recent activity of homeless individuals in the area.

To help prevent any potential fire incidents, we kindly request the following actions be taken as soon as possible:

Clean the area thoroughly

Remove all dry grass and vegetation

Inspect and repair the irrigation system, if needed

Pick up all trash and debris

Trim and shape the trees for better visibility and safety
