Georgetown Dr Corona, California, 92881 - CoronaI was driving North on Bedford Cyn, making a left turn onto Georgetown Drive. A Chevy Cruze, LIC #8KLL209, going South on Bedford Cyn Road, failed to yield the right-of-way to me (as posted on the sign.). Not only did she fail to yield, she continued on Georgetown at approx. 40 mph in this 25 mph street.

970 W Orange Heights Ln Corona, California, 92882 - CoronaDear City of Corona Public Works / Urban Forestry Staff,
I am writing to respectfully request an inspection and appropriate action regarding a mature tree located in the public right-of-way directly in front of my property at 970 Orange Heights Ln Corona, CA.
This tree has become significantly overgrown and now presents several serious concerns:
1. Sidewalk Damage & Trip Hazard – The large roots have severely lifted and cracked multiple sections of the public sidewalk, creating dangerous tripping hazards for pedestrians, including children, elderly residents, and individuals with mobility issues.
2. Proximity to Structure – Large branches are now very close to (within approximately 2–4 feet of) the front/side of my home. During wind or storms, these branches could cause significant damage to the roof, gutters, siding, or windows.
3. Encroachment onto Neighbor’s Property – Substantial portions of the tree’s canopy have grown well over the property line and are overhanging the neighbor’s yard [and/or driveway/roof – if applicable], creating concerns about potential damage and interference with their property.
Due to the combination of structural damage to the public sidewalk, imminent risk to my home, and encroachment onto the neighboring property, I believe this tree has become a hazard and is no longer suitable for its current location.
I respectfully request that the City:
• Conduct a professional inspection of the tree as soon as possible
• Determine whether major pruning, significant reduction, or full removal is necessary
• Take appropriate action to eliminate the hazards described above
I would greatly appreciate being notified of the inspection date and any subsequent decisions or planned work. Please feel free to contact me at 310 946 6102 or [email protected] if additional information or access to the property is needed.
Thank you for your attention to this important public safety and property maintenance matter. I look forward to your response and resolution. -

8556 Weirick Rd Corona, CA, 92883, USA - CoronaWe are the owners of Terrano Apts (REXCO) and wanted to let you know that the wooden fencing along Dos Lagos Drive, on the side of Dos Lagos/Terrano Apts is falling down. The wooden pieces that connect to the wooden posts are falling off and no longer connected. This is on I'd say 6+ spots on the fence. Please repair as it's falling into the landscaping. Thank you so much!
