Today is Wednesday February 25th 2026.
    Dear Code Enforcement/BSEED,
I am writing on behalf of the Sussex L&E Block Club regarding a persistent, unresolved property violation at 14611 Sussex,St.48227
Despite numerous warnings, the resident has left two overflowing trash receptacles on the street for several consecutive weeks. The bins are packed with household rubbish and building materials, causing debris to blow onto the sidewalks and street. Due to the excessive, improper waste, the sanitation service (Advanced Disposal) has refused to empty them, and rodents have been observed at night.
This ongoing neglect is causing significant irritation among neighbors, who are forced to clean up others debris from their own properties.
The Sussex L&E Block Club requests immediate enforcement action. If the property owner refuses to comply, we request that the city remove the bins to abate this nuisance. Thank you for your swift attention to this matter. Sussex L&E block Club

The driver who picked up our trash on 03/03/26 removed the trash and dropped my trash can so hard that both wheels broke off. He didn’t pick it up or attempt to put it back in place. The trash can was left closer to the street left broken and tipped over. My trash can is always placed closer to the street instead of the curb. My trash can wheels are broken and I’m unable to use it. There is a constant issue with the drivers not properly picking up the trash, as we follow the instructions alerts sent by text weekly. The trash cans are always left out in the street and tipped over. I have videos and pictures to prove it.

Residential bins at 14611 Sussex St is painfully visible on curbside after assigned pickup day (for trash) with household trash and building materials.
This is borderline nuisance with unsightly environmental violations. The Sussex L&E block club have requested BSED to enforce city blight ordinances and ensure the elimination of these problems caused by defiance of city rules.
    Please resolve. Thank you.
