City of Lansing PLUS

This is drawing rats and other animals. Its spilling into cavanaugh park. The pic attached if the view people have to look at from the park.

This dumpster is located in-between properties at 1504 and 1510 Michigan Avenue. It has been seen at this location directly behind the CATA bus stop for at least the last 6 months before starting to document it, where I have often seen a man emptying a hauling trailer contents into it. The garbage goes everywhere, he is careless and it is disgusting. Garbage and appliances are often on the side, around, and behind the dumpster.

It appears to be nothing but a trash hauling operation located on Michigan Avenue. These are pictures taken from the CATA bus stop directly in front of it, and the same view you will see from the street. Since there is no drive located where the garbage dump is located, the truck must drive over the curb to empty the dumpster. It is destroying the sidewalk. Is the owner going to pay to repave the sidewalk he is destroying, or the taxpayers?

The CATA bus stop was moved in 2012, so this has been going on for almost three years at least, probably longer. A garbage dump leading up to the capitol of Michigan is probably not the best image for Lansing to be putting forth. Reported to city council member through email on 7/15/13. Premise inspector sent out afternoon of 7/17/13. That is the last I have heard. New pictures added since.

I think it's time this is removed from the street leading up to our capital.

Hugh piles of trash in back, general all around. Cleaned the back a little last year but now it's bigger than before. This is from the park.

This house is disgusting. There is trash piled up in the back yard and some furniture. There is also a truck that doesn't work in the back yard. They also have two large dogs that they keep in a four foot by four foot cage in the back yard. They are so closed in they are pooping and peeing on each other. Something needs to be done asap.

Nasty old couch out by the curb no city sticker on it also trash car on side of driveway. Believe it is a drug house.

They put a disasembled pool and all pieces one the lowcroft side of their corner. It includes a ladder, boxes of parts, and rolls of plastic/pool material. We live by two schools, and the kids are walking by and picking up the trash and distributing it through the neibouring yards.

This house has a old soiled mattress on side of house, trash and debris all over the front and the back yard, the eaves are falling off, roof is bad, cats all over the yard, front yard is a sand box used for kitty litter box, trash on front porch and disabled cars in drive. Code Compliance help!

905 Seymour doesn't keep their trash in a bin, rather on the side of their house, and our driveway, where the bags are left to the elements and animals to pick at. Food waste and diapers included. The trash and door to the shed-thing the trash piles up in are in are now on our driveway. City of Lansing, please give me a call.

Indoor couch on front porch. Tires on front porch. Piles of tires in backyard. Backyard filled with trash, and dog feces. Cars blocking sidewalk. Everything these people say is yelled so overhearing about the condition of the insides mice and roach problem is no surprise from what you see on the outside.
