City of Chicopee PLUS

Several needles thrown behind the dumpster on Warregan st at the corner to the entrance to the nursing home. Not facility needles.

I reported this last week and needle remains under the stop sign at my son’s bus stop.

This is a ongoing problem of myself and children almost stepping on dirty needles they line the curb side of Whitman street. Unfortunately I have no other parking options. I have complained time and time again to Chicopee PD they have eventually told me to get a soda bottle and dispose of them myself. I feel that is not my job and I don’t have the means of disposing dirty possible infectious needles. This has been a recent problem of 6-10 needles lining the curbs and sidewalks all down Whitman street

There is a syringe at my son’s bus stop that he nearly ran over. It is corner of chicopee Street and Shepherd Street on grass below the stop sign.

Found a needle at rivers park next to the 391 underpass parking Not sure how this can be remedied ie... biohazard disposal bins, regular police patrolling, a gate to limit cars when park is close etc but I'll leave that to the professionals It's a shame as kids and pets could have easily stumbled upon it

Lawn not cut this season. 18" high grass. Property littered with trash.

This house is empty. Neighbors have kept up part of the property for aesthetic purposes. Back yard and side yard on South Side of house have not been cared for at all since last fall.

New house, 41 Glendale has let their yard over grow for weeks. Has to be at least 10 inches by now.

There is a commercial property for sale right next to CVS on Memorial Drive. This property is on James St. The fence of my yard borders it (I live at 861 Prospect St). The sumac and other weeds are towering over into our yard and partially blocking our solar panels. I do not believe the sumac is poison but it is certainly an eyesore, could be damaging our fence, and is potentially blocking the panels. I’d just like someone to come take care of the property please. It is also spilling into our neighbors yard.

Extreme overgrowth along chainlink fence between Gaylord Ct and Elms parking lot. Makes street-parking and/or turning around near impossible on this very narrow way. We have trimmed some ourself but either city or Elms need to properly clear this. Thank you.
