City of Chicopee PLUS

Few concerns, firstly the street is a one-way road and customer coming to fruit fair, ignore the sign and every time I pull into the street to go home, always a chance of getting hit by car going down the wrong way. Second is the greenhouse the city approved, noise is a concern from greenhouse fans etc, and property value going down for all the house in the area. I don’t know whose idea was it to approve a green house in a residential area.

This house is directly behind a Licensed child care home and the conditions of this yard are so bad that the daycare children can no longer play in the play yard which is located at 120 Wilson ave. The amount of rodents and mosquitos is so bad that the home owner can no longer use her yard. The home owner has filed complaints in the past and nothing was done to resolve this problem. The next course of action will be to file a formal police complaint. Something needs to be done , You can no longer see this house from the side of the day care home.

This is an extremely serious issue concerning the area of Center St next to the on ramps to Holyoke. I was involved in a traumatizing car accident back on December 10th. A woman did NOT yield or stop when trying to enter the Holyoke on ramp, she drove straight into my SUV pushing my car into the grass totaling both our vehicles. I have been out of work since. She told the officers at the scene that there was no oncoming traffic.
This is such a dangerous area, lots of accidents or fender benders weekly. Interstate Towing stated they are there twice a week. My accident could have been fatal.

Please could you consider traffic lights, it’s a concern I’m sure I’m not the first to report.
Lives matter, and I almost lost mine.

Build up of trash in the front yard forty nine divided street

Now that traffic can't turn left and travel behind the Home Depot can someone ask the owners of the property to mark the lanes so we know who's traveling where. Each time I travel into the parking lot near the Video Game store its a hazard, people almost run into one another.

New Gas meters on the side of Flanagan’s that are close to street and parking lot parking that are not protected by Bollards protection posts.

The cross walk on the corner by the Corner Store has no signs on either side of the road. At night or in rain/snow its hard to see the crosswalk lines in the road. It should have signs like all the other crosswalks on front street.

Home Depot in the Chicopee plaza uses the back lot behind the store, right up again the fence at the property lines, as an outside warehouse, breaking noise ordinances/disturbing of the peace

With assigned student parking why are students parking in neighborhoods near school making navigation difficult for homeowners, delivery drivers, and emergency vehicles? Student drop off on Windsor/Summit.. School administrators told parents to use this neighborhood for drop off/pick up of students. No staff sent to neighborhood for student safety at these times. Many parents not stopping at stop signs, unloading of students in middle of road, speeding. Safety concerns for students walking to school. Due to this congestion if/when a student is struck by vehicle emergency vehicles will have difficulty time gaining access to scene. Please resolve these issues as student safety should be our number one priority.
