    The water fountains have been off since 2020. I rode through Dana, Szot, and Chicopee state park today and none of the water fountains are usable. Are there plans to turn the fountains back on this year?

    Several years ago, we put up a fence to separate our property from Szot Park. The fence has been hit and damaged repeatedly by park department mowers during the spring and fall clean up, and regular summer maintenance. We have spoken to the crews every year, and to the supervisors on several occasions. Despite this, the fence continues to be hit by the city's equipment, and has been damaged yet again.

    Fairview park splash pad is a disgusting mess. Seems like sewage coming up from the drains and their is gunk all over. That’s unsanitary for the kids to be playing in. It’s been like this for over a week could we please get this fixed so the kids in this area have somewhere safe to play and cool off

    Hi, I'm a pro tennis player that I live in Chicopee, I've been noticing a lot of cracks at the tennis courts and that's causing people avoid playing at Chicopee sadly. Also, it's a big danger for the high school tennis team if the fall on it or twist their legs. Please try to fix that. Thank you!

    Area around park seems to be having some suspicious activities going on and it wouldn’t surprise me if needles are found. It would be nice to have a officer take a stroll around every so often.

    Baseball season is starting. It would be nice if the kids had a field that was proper. Maybe like a pitching mound and maybe a little clay so it’s not always so dusty. It has always surprised me being a lifelong resident how little is don’t to the baseball fields and when you go to the surrounding city’s and towns they have dugouts, announcers booth, concession stands, bathrooms, fenced in playing area (with advertising banners most likely for upkeep).
