    Hello. We are tenants in the downstairs unit of 12 Wentworth st in Malden. All the smoke alarms/carbon monoxide detectors in our unit are constantly malfunctioning and activate randomly many times every day including in the middle of the night. It seems like it could be an electrical issue because all the detectors regularly alarm at once. Electrical wiring in the basement near the circuit boards has frayed and uncapped wires and does not look like it was done by a licensed electrician. Our landlord, Yan Chan Zhou, who lives in the upstairs unit refuses to acknowledge the issue. It is impossible to keep any of the alarms on without them activating randomly a dozen times a day. These circumstances pose a huge fire safety risk. We were wondering if an inspector could come and examine the fire alarm and electrical work in our unit?     Tree fell on the light post about 1 1/2 year ago, DPW removed the light pole and leave the electrical wire exposed in a public park, it is very dangerous, at a minimum, a temporary junction box to be installed prior to replacement pole arrived. We reported the exposed wires issue few times, with no respond from DPW.

    Republic's recycling truck just clipped this wire and it's now hanging about 5' off the ground, and the other truck following it skipped the garbage pickup here.

    I reported the wire to national grid ~3 weeks ago in case it was a power line, since they never followed up I assume it’s not power (doesn’t look like a power line)
