    Detour of forest street is rerouting drivers to starbird st. That street is already very narrow two way street. This morning it was at a standstill. Drivers couldn't back out on mt. vernon or on porter to let others by. Please add a police detail in morning to help with traffic.

    This property has pest/rodent issues it is now spilling over to neighbors property with over growth as well! There are trees that are leaning on neighbors fence and the over growth of weeds causing bugs/mosquito problems, this is not the first request for this property to be taken care of! Please send help

    PLEASE FORWARD THIS REQUEST TO THE BOARD OF HEALTH.

    The doorknob to exit the main entrance of the building has been missing for weeks. Management was informed last week Thursday, yet nothing has been done. THIS IS A FIRE AND SAFETY HAZARD! It is very difficult and painful trying to grip what's left of the handle which makes it extremely dangerous in the case of an emergency. Again, the landlords have been made aware and are dragging their feet.

    I kindly ask that the Board of Health contact the landlords and send a fine to compel them to fix this issue.

    To the neighbors' whose car alarm goes off 2-3 times a day at this house, very early waking up the whole neighborhood: please be more considerate, as it's very early and some of us have to go to work. This has been an issue this past week, not sure if it's a problem with your car or your remote starter.

    Can Malden either have the gas contractor move their equipment or otherwise manage parking on Clifton Street? Especially with the piping staged on the other side of the road from where people park, it has become an unmarked one way street with all of the obstructions and is dangerous to pedestrians and drivers.

    There is a Silver Honda Oydssey Minivan (license plate: 79WF72) that parks either in front of 688, 690, or 694 Main Street and it’s car alarm will go off 2-3 times at odd hours of it night. It’s happened on 2 or 3 separate occasions over the last month. Tonight while this minivan was in front of 690 Main Street, it’s car alarm went off for periods of 5-7 minutes starting at around 9:00 p.m, again at 9:30, and then a third time at around 10:00 p.m. It has escalated to the level of disturbing the peace and it is unacceptable that we are unable to sleep or rest without excessive unpleasant noise.

    I find it really interesting The City of Malden has closed the case regarding the illegal parking space that has been created on the front lawn of the property at 55 Regent Road. The City is no longer allowing residents to pave their front lawns on Regent Road. Why would the city allow the property owner to create this mess on their property for parking, which is an eyesore to the neighborhood? The city should force them to dismantle it. Below you will find the message I sent on 1 June 2017:

    I was told by the City of Malden (Permits Department) that parking on one's front yard on Regent Road is not allowed. As you can see by the attached picture, the owner of 55 Regent Road has made a makeshift driveway, which is a total eyesore to his/her neighbors and everyone else on the street. At one point, The City was allowing the cutting of the curb (for a fee and a permit) to allow access to their property for purposes of parking on a City-approved driveway. Can you please look into this? Thanks.

    As a resident of this street and taxpayer, I would like to know why this is allowed at the expense of the property owners surrounding the property. It simply is not right and is a total eyesore. I really do believe The City of Malden sits on issues for a long time with no action, hoping that others don't notice so they can sweep it under the carpet. That's why the city has been become a "seedy" place in which to live. It's truly a shame.

    I previously reported the incessant car alarm problem. however I was unable to log into my account until now. I HAVE called the non emergency number and they have NOT helped whatsoever. it is going off as I type.
