PLEASE FORWARD THIS REQUEST TO THE BOARD OF HEALTH.

The doorknob to exit the main entrance of the building has been missing for weeks. Management was informed last week Thursday, yet nothing has been done. THIS IS A FIRE AND SAFETY HAZARD! It is very difficult and painful trying to grip what's left of the handle which makes it extremely dangerous in the case of an emergency. Again, the landlords have been made aware and are dragging their feet.

I kindly ask that the Board of Health contact the landlords and send a fine to compel them to fix this issue.

    Thank you,

I have been living in Malden on Oakland street for the past year and my partner and I have been woken nearly every night by excessively loud motorcycles. We hear them at all hours of the day, including late at night and early in the morning. We have one neighbor (I believe at an apartment between 105-116 Oakland street) who constantly operates his motorcycle at an extremely disruptive noise level. It is clear that he is intentionally causing his motorcycle to create this noise by constantly gunning his engine. He leaves and returns home multiple times throughout the day, each time creating excessive noise. It is especially disruptive since my partner and I both work from home, like many other people in the neighborhood. As I have not been able to identify who this person is yet, I request that signs be put up on Oakland street and in surrounding neighborhoods informing motorcycle drivers of the acceptable level of noise that their vehicles can make.

Dexter Estates was draining their swimming pool into the street/city sewer yesterday. I’m wondering…is this allowed?
  • 184 Bryant Street Malden, MA, 02148, USA - Malden Ward 7
    Hello,
To whom it may concern, I’m a Malden residence and my address is 182 Bryant st. On 8/10/21 a company was cutting a concrete panel with a gas saw on 178 Bryant st next door from my house. Please note they were not using water during the cutting, so the dust was airborne, and all over my driveway and cars. Water should have been used while cutting to avoid the harmful dust. Please inform the company, as they are working across the street now, and lots of dust is being released into the air/street.

Detour of forest street is rerouting drivers to starbird st. That street is already very narrow two way street. This morning it was at a standstill. Drivers couldn't back out on mt. vernon or on porter to let others by. Please add a police detail in morning to help with traffic.

At this point and on behalf of all the people trying to sleep along Main Street, please have the Malden police look for and pull over the driver who is racing down the road while reving their engine at around 1:15 a.m.. Another hooligan with an extremely loud muffler has gone by twice at 1:30 a.m. towards Melrose and then back towards Malden Center at approximiately 1:40 a.m. Why are these people allowed on the road?
