    Is it possible to put a button-activated crosswalk alert light at this intersection? This is a huge crosswalk with two divisions that are not wide enough for a pedestrian to use as a stopping point, and feels very unsafe at night.

    Could you please make the inside lane a right turn only lane? 99 percent of vehicles in this lane want to go down bridge st and the 1 percent that don't want to go straight to cut off the vehicles in the left lane since there is only one lane in the Bridge st bypass road. This is the kind of traffic calming changes that makes sense

    Speed bumps need to be installed both directions in and out of the Willows. All night long we hear screeching tires, vehicles at VERY high rates of speed coming out of and going into the Willows. And fix the traffic lights, someone is going to be killed next time!

    People drive like maniacs down Washington Street all the time, but really all over Salem. They barely ever see the crosswalk in front of church street, especially when big cars are parked on the corners. I’ve seen people almost hit by cars here countless times.

    I lived in Somerville for 20+ years with maybe 10 such incidents In those years. The two years I’ve lived in Salem, I’ve seen pedestrians almost hit by fast or distracted drivers an overwhelming amount of times, too many to count. I’ve almost been hit myself approx. 6 times and I’m hyper aware of my surroundings. It’s absolutely insane. There needs to be better restrictions in place. The city of Salem could do well with slow traffic lights and capture cameras in place to impose a fee on offenders. The city would make a killing. $$$ No pun intended.

    Could a traffic mirror be placed at intersection of Valley Street and Cherry Hill Avenue like the one at Valley and Parlee St . Difficult to see oncoming Valley St traffic at this location when attempting to cross intersection to continue on Cherry or to turn in either direction onto Valley St

    Please install speed barriers before and after CoffeeTime bake shop / Gas station (near Pearl st and Barton st), the traffic goes by very fast there and does not pay attention to many pedestrians. There is also Carlton School down the road where cars speed all the time.

    Yesterday a car going South on Barr St almost hit me broad side as I was traveling west (towards Tremont) on School St. There is NO STOP SIGNAGE ON BARR ST!!! I was only a few seconds away from an accident as the car was going EXTREMELY FAST on Barr St. PLEASE PLACE TWO STOP SIGNS ON THE BARR ST TO SCHOOL ST INTERSECTION TO PREVENT FUTURE ACCIDENTS ! Please... I was shocked ! It would have been bad!!!.

    For years now residents along Broad Street have been begging for traffic calming measures. Crossing this street is extremely dangerous and speeding traffic (particularly motorcycles) is often incredibly loud.

    I just drove down Chestnut Street and am disgusted to find that it now has speed bumps. Why is Chestnut Street receiving speed bumps before Broad Street?
