    Last fall Oak street water main was replaced and as a result one hydrant was removed and two additional hydrants were installed in different locations along the street. The yellow way-finder on the utility pole across from the old hydrant was never removed and two additional way-finding markers should be installed on the utility poles closest to the new hydrants

    Rainfall on Greendale Ave is funneled into my driveway and overwhelms my drain. This causes my garage to flood. There needs to be a curb/gutter installed on this side of the street because the water flow is uncontrolled. My garage has flooded at least 8 times in the last 5 years.

    On Lawton I have noticed water staining in street not draining from up hill for maybe 6 months even on dry days. I though was irrigation in summer but turned off and in AM road still wet. Sometimes almost a little milky colored. Happening on dry days. In front of hydrant and water cover but seems to start about 10 feet higher up street from hydrant. Maybe a leak under?

    Full sidewalk of ice from water runoff getting stuck in front of my home. It’s a safety concern and since you won’t fix it I’m installing a barrier to get water into the drain for the rest of the season.

    Third year of bringing this to attention.

    Ground water comes up through sidewalk. Grading does not allow water to go into drain. It is now a frozen sheet of ice in front of my home. I’m in a wheelchair (have internal elevator) and live alone with tweens. I can’t fix this ongoing ice and water situation or get a picture of the ice. We aren’t getting groceries or packages.

    I would like to commend the DPW for its concern with the ice along the northside of Brookline St. from Mitchell School to Manning St. The salting in the early morning is great for safety. The problem is the plowing that goes along with it. The plow tends to leave the ice it's scaping from the street on the storm sewer grate in front of my house, clogging it so the water no longer flows into it so it bypasses the sewer and continues down Brookline St. freezing as it goes. We had to go out this morning and break up the compacted ice on the storm sewer grate to get it to flow into it rather than down the street. Hopefully there is a reasonable solution to this..

    I believe the root of the problem of the ice on Brookline St. is run-off from the Mitchell School that goes unabated through our neighbor's garage and out onto Brookline St. which tends to last for days after the rain has stopped. In fact it is still flowing today from Monday's storm. It would be nice if the Town could address this problem some day. It's not new.

    Hazelton Ave. Needham, Massachusetts - Needham

    During heavy rain (most recent Friday Oct 21, 2016...4th time in last 3 years) storm water pools on Hazelton Ave. and eventually runs in one massive rush through the backyard of #31 Hazleton down to Beaufort backyard (including into a swimming pool which then overflows also).

    All in a matter of seconds a giant pond and overflowed swimming pool is left in 3 Beaufort backyards. Homeowners are unable to address this amount of water through any barrier, yard regrading or sump system.

    Storm water from Hazleton and those streets higher up (Arch, Highgate, etc) must be redirected to stay on the streets and not go into yards. Attached map shows flow of water.
