Intersection of great plain ave and broad meadow rd. Very hard to see traffic coming on left because of brush growth.

I live at 45 Curve Street. I got up at about 7:00 AM, and was sitting in my living room when a cloud of dust poured in from the street. I looked OUT and found a long construction vehicle/truck standing in front my proiperty. It had several smaller vehicles which I saw rolling off from the long truck. These vehciles had shovels/scoops and they were bringing loads of very fine dust from somewhere I could not see. They were emptying their shovels/scoops into the main truck over the truck's sides from a height and created billows of dust pouring into the house. I went out and talked to the men doing this work and they told me that they were working for Eversource. The trucks bore the name Ridley. They gave me a number at Eversource to call. I called this number several times until the office opened and somebody answered, This gentleman was not able to give any information about the work being done except that Eversource was a utility company and must carry out certain works. My complaint is that the dust could contain hazardous material such as asbestos. And there must be a regulation about its proper disposal in residential areas, such as the use of proper covers and sprinklers etc. It seemed the work was being done on some other location and it was convenient for them to park the vehicles in our street (and in front of my house). It would be nice if DPW looked into this and prevent such occurrences.

Hi, could you consider installing traffic lights here? There is a lot of traffic from the West Street. Central Ave is also busy. It is really difficult to make left turns from West St.
