    There is a 8-10 inch open hole in what may be a water pipe on the newly paved surface across from 1390 South St. The cover to the opening, marked "water" in on the berm near the paved patch. A resident ran over a larger metal fitting that was in the middle of the roadway near the open hole. He came back to the site to remove the fitting from the roadway. This fitting is now at Town Hall for retrieval.

    Hello-the tennis courts at Newman are in need of care. There is poison ivy and pricker bushes along the inside of the courts so whoever is playing there is constantly retrieving the balls from the dangerous bushes. It would be great to have this cleaned up. Thank you.
