Town of Needham PLUS

Hello we were asked for more details related to this issue, however we're not sure our updates can be seen so we're adding them again here. The curbs in front of our house were only 1.5 inches high - insufficient to stop street water from flooding our property. The curbs have since been raised, however the street is still higher than our property by 1/2 inch so flooding will still occur. Awaiting town repairs to street to stop our property from sustaining damage.

There are 2 drains on Wachusett that have not flowed properly in several years and continuously back up. Requesting drains be cleared in anticipation of more rain and is there a plan to address the drainage issues to accommodate anticipated heavy rains.

We have a manhole in our backyard. Due to the rain yesterday, the manhole was back flowing with tons of water into our yard and eventually our basement - causing us to have waist deep water in our basement and yard. We’d request the manhole to be looked at as soon as possible.

Tree falling into sink hole due to August 8 storm damage. Sink hole previously submitted. No repair as of yet. Causing further damage to surrounding trees.

Currently this is my backyard due to a storm drain that runs from Virginia Rd to Greendale Ave through our backyard. Every year it get worse.

August 8th floods

Storm drain was a double grate which was working well and was changed to a single and recently asphalt was built up around drain. It is no longer draining well in even a normal rain storm resulting in ponding in the road. On August 8 we had a flood in the garage. Please, please change it back to a double grate. The storm drain is in the middle of the road.

Catch basin inadequate. Recently the catch basin in the middle of the road was raised due to complaints of noise by neighbor. Water is not draining well into catch basin and is flooding the road with normal rain. Yesterdays rain caused flooding in road and garages. Can we please go back to the double grate and lower it so it actually drains the water?

basement has flooded to high waist water. Fire dept has disconnected the gas/power.add'l flooding to the garage . 91 Grosvenor has flooded as well.

the downpour has caused flooding at the south end of Eaton Rd, near the intersection with Harris Ave.
