    We live in Needham on Brentwood Circle and our neighbor at 46 Brentwood Circle has broken drainage pipes that pool water in his yard and also direct to our property leading to pooled water in his and our backyard that is full of mosquitoes and bugs. We have elderly parents and young kids and are concerned about the mosquitos/bugs.

    Is there anything we can do to get them to address the situation/can the town assist? We have tried asking. Thanks!

    Water sprinkler on Highland Ave. Fire department property seems broken with water simply gushing upwards watering driveway and sidewalk. Very wasteful especially during this dry spell. Needs repair, thank you. This sprinkler head is located just before continuation of sidewalk with white fence.

    A number of residents called concerned that there is a hose spilling water out onto the street and causing a big puddle that will turn into ice as the temperature drops.

    Woods across from 53 Blake Street were flooded this morning almost up to the road. However, the ground floor toilet started leaking from the base and the tub filled with water. This is on the heels of last August's flood that ruined our ground floor.

    Water from Hazelton Ave again overflowed at 3:30am this morning into the Backyards of 36, 40 and 46 Beaufort Ave. In a matter of minutes the backyards were completely overwhelmed with water. Water entered finished basements.

    Homeowners had to use industrial grade surface pump exiting by fire size hose to remove water from back yard.

    This is the sixth occurrence of the overflow that has been reported to the town since 2011. Three of the six occurrences have happened in the last 5 months so the problem is increasing in its frequency.

    The same overflow happened and damaged homes in 2011 during Hurricane Irene, 2013, 2016, and August 8, 2023 and Dec 18,2023.
