Nantucket DPW PLUS

The pole was replaced after the tree fell on Candle House Lane. But they didn't replace the bricks they took out when they replaced the pole. It's now a tripping hazard. The bricks that were removed are leaning up against his flower garden.

We have a paved sidewalk that needs repair in an area that is the historic district that has mostly brick sidewalks. How can I request to change to a brick sidewalk?

Missing bricks in front of 70 (?) union st

A portion of the sidewalk on the Mill Street side of her foundation is pitched wrong and causing rainwater to flow towards her foundation and seep through her brick foundation.

The sidewalk from Sparks Ave to Pleasant St becomes impassable due to vegetation/hedge encroachment.

Would like to inquire regarding side walk repair. The side walk in front of 74 Union st was torn up when construction began on the initial poperties at 1 and 3 Mariner Way to facilitate drainage to nearby drain. It has been over a decade and the sidewalk was never replaced and was left as dirt.
My question is it the homeowner's responsibility to fix or the town as it is a public way.

The issue is that the entire sidewalk is missing the bricks and is just an uneven and hazardous non friendly "walkway". There are tree roots, abandoned and broken irrigation hoses and connections, two pieces of elevated curb where there once was an exposed driveway/parking area and overgrowth of vegetation. This section of the Pleasant St. pedestrian connection to the Post office, the Bank and access to businesses on W. Creek Road is a complete hazard for tripping with non accessible use for those with mobility issues, wheelchairs, baby carriages, groceries etc. I respectfully ask that this be made a priority for refurbishment to accommodate those that try to walk in this very busy area.

Not really a sidewalk issue but there is no category for Utility Issues / this is a loose utility cable in the middle of this sidewalk

Substantial curb and brick damage from vehicles parking over the curb and tree removal. Also, three trees need to be replaced on Pleasant St. The corner of Pleasant St and Mill St in the most critical location.

The curb is missing, and vehicles are driving the sidewalk. She almost got hit this afternoon by a vehicle that drove over the curb and on the sidewalk.

Ashley spoke with me earlier this spring requesting this work. This was entered into Click & Fix, but I am unable to find it. (Carrie - Office Admin)
She said she met with someone from the DPW about a year and a half ago and they told her it would be done over the winter of 2024.
