I live across from the Madaket Bike Path as you can see from my address below. There are several long stretches where the distance between the bike path and the road are very close. The white line boundary of the bike path and the white line boundary of the road are very faded and do not give confidence. This is a safety concern.
Today while walking west, I did not hear (walk solo with no headphones or music playing) an electric bike until it was just upon me. It startled such that I stepped slightly to the right and a car was driving (seems fast but perhaps the speed limit) toward at the same time. Thankfully, nothing bad happened.
Please consider painting the lines soon, if possible, as this might help a little bit. Separately, (not your responsibility) bicyclists should alert a walker whose back is to them that they are approaching, a bell would be nice or a little shout, “on your left” or something.. Thank you. -

118 Orange St Nantucket, Massachusetts, 02554 - NantucketYears ago, the town put in a bike bath, the town took a portion of the property, pushed back the driveway apron. They didn't finish the work and now the driveway is falling into disrepair.
There is a missing row of Belgum blocks after the iron edging. Due to this missing row (About 15 blocks in total) there are now potholes.Could you please call David Ryan and let him know when you will be back to finish this project? As they only have one driveway to access their home.

But there is an area that has sunken directly in front of the home. I think it was from the parked backhoe digging trenches. Either way, water accumulates here. It has caused a few bikers to crash avoiding it. If it could be repaired, it would be ideal. Thank you! -
