City of Worcester PLUS

Last September I asked if something could be done about a business that isn't keeping a clean and neat front. I received a comment back saying it was resolved but no message as to why it was resolved or what would happen. In good faith, I waited but unfortunately this is still how this business looks, everyday we are looking at a junk yard. Can anything be done?

Old Saint Peter Marion has been vandalized, broken windows etc. Property is a nuisance to the neighborhood. Diocese of Worcester was notified over a month ago. No action to board it up or secure the property has been initiated.

Owner is breaking up some old furniture along with other materials and putting them on the hillside essentially creating a landfill for his junk . At the bottom of the hill there is a large pile of construction demolition materials etc. I believe these conditions create a nuisance pursuant to the Nuisance Ordinance of the city of Worcester. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

A large part of the siding has been ripped off and the structure of the porch is exposed, unsure if the building could be deemed to be safe or not.

At this address there are people who have illegal weapons and there is a video of him disrespecting the police. They have a place where they hide illegal weapons on the roof of the house and I am the father of a girl who was there, her friend had asked her to go to a party there. house and it turned out that there were several people underage with illegal weapons. I would like to ask for a madator's order to investigate the house……

Building is in poor condition. Have had 4 sewage back ups into basement in past 2 years. Landlord didn't come to fix so my husband fixed it and we had to clean up all the sh*t. No kitchen window on second floor for the 2 years I've lived there. No smoke detectors as they kept going off and fire department had to come and find why they wouldn't stop. Electric for 2nd and 3rd floor are as one unit and he rents both separate. We had to pay electric for both floors. Water coming into indent in kitchen leaving huge water bubbles in the wall, ultimately leaking through the lights on the first floor. No working heat on 3rd floor. Tenant had to run electric heat which made my bill unbearable. 3rd floor bathroom sink doesn't work. Doors to porch on 3rd floor to go out are inside doors and do not keep out the cold. Bathroom on 3rd floor leaking into the ceiling of bedroom off living room on 2nd floor. Shower in 3rd floor is cracked and leaking. Front porch on second floor has leak in the ceiling. Paint in entire apartment just peeling away and crumbling. Bathroom in second floor creates a ton of water into first floor bathroom. First floor bathroom hasn't had a running bathroom sink in 2 years. Landlord does not come and take care of shoveling or yard. Lived in this home since June 2022 and have never had the landlord show up to fix anything when notified.

There are some roosters living in the garage for a while, they’re very disturbing to me and my family, I have children and I work in the evening, which makes very difficult to sleep during the day for me. I kindly ask that the city take care of this matter ASAP. Thank you

There's a constant, intermittently loud whining noise from the HVAC system on the roof of the building that started in mid January. I live toward the back of 16 Norwich St, a couple of buildings away, and the alleyway behind the building seems to be perfectly positioned to bounce the sound around a lot. Makes me feel like I have tinnitus with the constant background noise.

I was Wondering If You Can Get The Glass Fixed On The Salon. It Would Be Greatly Appreciated. Thank You. They Are Really Nice And It Would Be Wonderful If It Could Be Fixed. Especially In This Neighborhood. 😀
