42 Garrison Ave Worcester, Massachusetts, 01606 - Worcester

My name is Neil Medin. We reside on 42 Garrison AVE in Worcester.

There are 2 large maple trees that line the street in front of our house, that are getting overgrown and need pruning and possible limbs removed, as they are covering the roof line of our house. Power lines pass through their limbs.

Please advise as to the ownership of the trees. If I recall, the city came once and removed some limbs that were overhanging and touching our roof, creating a risk of braking on our roof. I was told they are city owned and I can not alter them myself in anyway. Was that correct information?

I would like to have them pruned, so not to cover my roof and the limb offshoots removed as not to shade my property completely.
