    This fence was recently put up at our facility, Century Linen. The original fence was removed as part of the improvements made to the Polar Park area. It wasn't just our fence that was removed. All the fencing was removed all the way up and down Lamartine Street. Once this Polar project was complete and the sidewalks replaced, it's my understanding that a 3rd party vendor replaced all the fences on behalf of the city.

    There have been numerous car break ins behind the permit parking sign where there is free parking. Every few months there has been a similar instance where 3 cars after the sign had been broken into and property has been stolen. 3 cars were broken into October of 2023, 3 in May 2024, and 3 in June 2024. The police have been notified more than once and there is no current suspect due to the lack of surveillance past that sign. I personally have walked down the street and witnessed drug deals several times on this road as well as other suspicious activity. I kindly request there be a surveillance camera set up to be able to limit the amount of illegal activity or be able to gain evidence of those responsible of these illegal activities.
