City of Holyoke PLUS

Multiple cars parked in driveway registered out of state. Owner of home died. Son stays couple days a week. Trash in yard.

Junk yard of vehicles has been all over the mountain for years. Guy who owns the place keeps adding more

I have had a bear in my backyard twice in the past week. He destroyed my bird feeder and was about 15 feet away from me. Can someone come and put this bear to sleep I would like to be able to use my yard because it's summer.

At least two adult skunks (one with a black stripe down its back, one with an all white back). They have been increasingly aggressive over the last several months, and are approaching and spraying. They have sprayed my dog three times. Because I have now seen two of them (I thought there was only one until now), my concern is that there might be a den under the porch, which would explain their aggression.

This house has a dog that is often off-leash and out of owners’ control. Owners are hostile and violent when asked to use a leash. Be aware it may not be safe to walk near this location.

There is a dead goose on the side of the road. I was told to let animal control know about it.

There are 2 small dogs in this home. They are left on the back deck of the home to go to the bathroom, they are not taken for walks, or put down in the grass to us the bathroom. They do not have water out there and are left sometimes for hours, today is Saturday 9/2 and they have been out there all morning. They are panting and scratching at the back door to be let in, they are also barking, they bark sometimes constantly day and or night.
Although they look to be healthy, it is awful to see and listen to the barking all the time.
We would like them to be reminded of proper care for the dogs, exercise necessity and barking laws.

To whom it may concern:

Family pet Chico was brought in DOA after being left in a mechanic garage (in the office part) for over 36 hours by himself without AC (just fans). Dr. Sullivan believes he died of heat stroke. We carefully asked them if they have another dog and they mentioned they did have a smaller dog that stayed full time at their house (and not the garage). The owner's lack of understanding that it was totally not ok to leave his dog like that (especially in 90 degree heat) was very concerning and disturbing.
