    This burned house has been broken into and inhabited by unsavory, menacing characters. It's also next door to a children's play area at the Y. Those of us who live nearby now have new seriously scary neighbors who aren't people inhabiting reality. I called the police previously while people were in the house and they don't do anything about people breaking in. Maybe the board of health can take action to get this place torn down or properly secured? The only reason this house caught fire in the first place was someone who wasn't supposed to be in the neighboring house setting a fire to stay warm that got out of control. In that situation the person was reported numerous times as well. What are the chances we will have yet another fire when it dips into the 20s this week? Hopefully someone does something this time. Thanks.

    Casella Waste Systems on 700 Main St, Holyoke generates a lot of odor and keeps its bay doors open even during weekends. It's on the section of Main St that connects South Holyoke to Downtown Holyoke. It is also near the Holyoke School Operations Department and Springdale Park where many families and children gather. The attached picture was taken on Sunday 5/28/2023. I checked it about one week later on 6/3/2023, and the bay doors were still open. It's a public health and welfare hazard for a waste management company to be operating without proper odor and air control in an area where many people live, work, and travel through.

    Just wondering how legal it is to have people park on Northampton Street for events at Crosier Field. If you're driving north & want to turn right onto Beech you have to sit through a few lights in the straight lane due to cars parked & blocking the turn lane. Can anything be done? Can't people use the sides streets & walk?
