    There is a very bright light on a streetlight pole that's pointed away from the street and shines brightly in our windows at night. Can it be pointed down or more towards the street? It's on the west side of the street, pointing west.

    Convert the triangular park at Race, Main, Mosher and Canal streets to a traffic circle for traffic calming while retaining the parking spaces at 1 Canal St. Regular traffic frequently exceeds 50 mph when traveling from Main to Canal streets, treating the parking spots as a second lane of travel. Trucks also speed around this blind curve, striking the rail bridge at Lyman. There have been numerous significant accidents at the location, including at least 1 fatality that could be mitigated by a redesign. These high speeds also contribute to increased accidents at the intersection Canal and Lyman streets, which are frequent enough that the sidewalks constantly contain crash related debris.

    Hi, This complaint is about the canal bridge that passes over cabot street on the 3rd canal. Close to 101 cabot street and Fln-Mar. The bridge's metal ties have been broken for months with an orange cone on top of it. This bridge is breaking down and totallly unacceptable. Especially with the great rise in taxes in holyoke for homeowners. Please fix this bridge with our taxes! thanks

    I was driving past Bed Bath and Beyond towards the Holyoke mall. I was in the far right lane by the sidewalk just about to go under the underpass. I hit a pothole and popped my tire. I had to call roadside assistance and purchase a new tire ($110). This pothole should be fixed as soon as possible.

    I ran onto this pothole on 2/8/22 around 9:30 pm. I got an immediate flat tire, had to pull over, and in freezing temperatures (around 28 degrees F). All alone, I was struggling to inflate/temporarily fix the tire with “Fix-a-Flat”, which was frozen and wasn’t coming out. I had to leave my car in a nearby parking lot and have my wife drive me home, and had to tow the car the next day to PepBoys. The parking lot I left my car on had a lady waiting to be picked up, also with a blown tire - she presumably ran onto the exact same pothole. My wheel ended up being irreparably warped/bent and tire irreparably blown. The amount of time and money we lost, as well as the emotional and physical toll I endured (I have Raynaud’s syndrome, so I risk having a frostbite with even above-freezing cold temperature) is appalling given the fact that someone already submitted a claim for the exact same pothole 9 months ago! I pay my taxes and expect better than that. I request my expenses to be reimbursed and the pothole fixed immediately.
