    Part of Washington street was recently re-paved. Is there any timeline for when the rest of the street will get entirely re-surfaced? The strip of Washington St between Prescott St and High St is a mess from patchwork repairs over the years and a water main replacement a couple of months ago.

    My children and I were almost hit by a speeding vehicle on Wakefield street while walking to school at the Killam in the morning on 10/13. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time this has happened. It is very dangerous with the volume of cars and speeding when children are trying to walk to school. Not only do my children walk to school but many other families that live on the street do as well. There are no sidewalks and as a result something needs to be done. Some ideas are the speed limit being lowered, intermittent speed monitoring by police or changing to do not enter during school commute hours. Something needs to change before something tragic occurs. My children are school-age and we shouldn’t have to fear for their safety on our daily walk to school. Your attention in this matter is much appreciated.

    The stop sign is gone at the end of Willow and it's an accident waiting to happen. The drivers who stop on Summer and need to turn left can't see past the six foot privacy fence. You are forced to move out into the intersection just to see. Please put a stop sign back in the original Willow location.

    There needs to be signage, street markings, and enforcement to prevent people from blocking entry to Ash and Generals Way from Main during high traffic times. More traffic is being caused as a result.

    This section of Berkeley Street has no curbing. Lots of cars park there and the dirt has eroded causing a drop off and damage to the tree roots.

    2-98 Field Pond Dr Town of Reading, MA, 01867, USA - Reading
    Recently paved Field Pond Drive has a slightly raised water valve access cover - as can be seen the plows are hammering this cover which sits up about 1/4" proud of the pavement - they hit it so hard you can see the diagonal plow blade impression in the pavement - this needs to be fixed ASAP so the newly paved road is not torn up due to this cover

    A crosswalk is needed in front of the entrance to Memorial Park on Salem Street. Multiple Reading Citizens have asked for a crosswalk to be placed in front of the entrance to Memorial Park as there is no crosswalk currently at that location. Citizens coming from John Street or nearby homes are currently requested to go to the top of Main Street or to Pearl Street in order to cross the street in gaining access to Memorial Park.

    They removed 2 steel road plates from Woburn and Linden and placed them in front of my house. When people drive over them my house shakes and an unbearable noise occurs. I'm not looking forward to going to bed. Won't be able to sleep with the racket. They could have put cones on it.

    Cars go really fast both ways around the corners and almost hit people can we get a crosswalk to cross the street from Bethune Ave onto the forest street sidewalk that is on the other side of the street

    February 2021 a water main broke in front of our home 126 Charles st. The repaving that was done has significant divots / dips. With being a busy street we have large trucks with heavy trailers constantly up and down our street, all day and all night. These dips in the road create intensely loud noises coming from the truck and trailers which wake us up, scare us half to death and are constant. We would like the road paved smooth in the entire section in front of our house the way it was prior to the water main break.
