7 Jay St Grafton, MA, 01536, USA - GraftonI am 71 and go out once a day for drive thru at Dunk in Donuts. More than once I have witnessed excessive speed of between 50 and 60 miles an hour. I was in left hand lane on Worcester Street heading south. There was a truck in right hand lane ahead of me driving normally. A sedan flew by me on right recklessly went left and cut out truck where it is one lane. A truck that appeared to be chasing the sedan tried the same move. The first truck kept its position and the second truck speeding almost crashed. The two offending reckless vehicles may have been going 60. Every day I have noticed a few cars speeding. I have not seen any police cruisers in sight. Just want you to be aware some drivers are getting more brazen with the
Ight traffic and no visible police presence. I am not exaggerating this. I drive 30 to 35 on Worcester Street. Tailgaters arrive at my bumper who come from nowhere driving maybe 50 menace me regularly. I know you need to keep safe. The bad drivers seem to think the road belongs to them during the pandemic. Thanks for any consideration you give this. Hopefully none of them hit and hurt me. I will then be calling you from the collision. It is like the wild west out there. Thanks for all you do well. Sincerely, Susan Hanam -
Railroad TrashOpen9-11 Frankie Lane Grafton, Massachusetts - GraftonEver since the railroad re-opened, the company has been doing much work to repair the existing tracks, especially after the incident where a train derailed. As they repair, it appears that they dump all old steel and timbers on the side of the tracks in piles. As neighbors, I believe most of us, uphold our responsibility to keep clean properties, so I think it that the railroad should clean up as well. I only see the stretch between Snow Road and Carroll Road, but I have to assume this occurs throughout the run of stacks in town. Are there any plans by the railroad to address this issue for the neighborhood?

Dead treeAcknowledged6 Glen St. North Grafton, MA - GraftonHi there - there is a completely dead oak on the corner of Glen St. and Glenwood. I have feeling it died in part because of the heavy construction machines that were parked on its roots for weeks at a time during multiple Glen St. pavings. At any rate, when we had some trees trimmed in our yard, we asked about taking that tree down, and they said they couldn't and that we should let the town know. Hence this note!
