  • 142 Federal Street Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 - City of Salem
This maple recently dropped one of its last branches. Please remove and plant two large shade trees to either side of the gate. This was the home of Mayor Henry Kemble Oliver whose portrait hangs outside the mayor's office at city hall. The house is additionally significant as an outstanding example of the Federal style as designed by Samuel McIntire. Thank you very much.

  • 74 Ord Street Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 - City of Salem
It would be lovely to add 2 or 3 public trees across the street from our home, 74 Ord Street. In the picture you can see the walls of the ramp leading up to Witchcraft Heights Elementary. It seems as though they tried to plant one previously but it died so it was chopped down. It will add much needed shade in the area and won't affect the power line as they move across the street at that spot. Please let me know if this request can be granted. Thank you so much! - Anna Hillman, SPS Educator and Salem resident. [email protected]
