  • 7 Pope St Salem MA 01970, United States - City of Salem

Pope St sees wrong way drivers atleast twice a day mostly tourist visiting the memorial.

I have complained before about it, but the city seems to have no regard for the safety of its residents here or the ignorant tourists we deal with on a daily basis. Some updated, visible ONE WAY signs and a speed radar sign would be much appreciated for the speed racers flying down here from Procter.

Only a matter of time before one of the cities precious tourists are injured.

Franklin St & Osborne St Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 - City of Salem
Can pedestrian crossing or similar signs be added to this crosswalk? Cars repeatedly drive through all three crosswalks on Franklin Street when pedestrians are there.

14-22 Shillaber St Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
Is it possible to put a solar powered speed limit sign on Shillaber St. near the Burke St. intersection? It is a narrow street and it is poorly lit. There are individuals driving 40mph plus, with a near head on collision accident occurring very frequently. This is near home owners vehicles between Shillaber and Burke Street and at the very ends of Shillaber St. Also, this makes walking with small children or pets a hazard. Some areas between Shillaber and Burke St. have little to no sidewalks. Making it that more dangerous with the high speeds and poor lighting.
  • Pickman Rd Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 - City of Salem
Cars race around the corner and down the street and there are many children on this street playing. It is dangerous. We need a slow down sign or speed bumps to keep the children and elderly safe.
  • 1 Turner St Salem 01970, United States - City of Salem
There have been a lot of large trucks trying to drive down Turner Street this year. Some of them have been towing trailers with large boats or trucks carrying moorings. This morning, a truck carrying moorings had to back half way down Turner Street after the driver realized he made a mistake. I’ve also seen your buses turn down Turner Street on their way to the House of Seven Gables. I believe most of these vehicles are using GPS to get to the marina near the ferry landing. Could we put signs up restricting truck traffic on Turner Street unless it is for a delivery on the street and/or reclassify the street so GPS stops directing traffic down Turner Street?

Parking meter was removed to change street to resident parking, but pole is still in sidewalk.
  • Grove St & Mason St Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
This intersection is hazardous, please consider adding an additional stop or yield sign near the old moose lodge. The spacing of signs here makes it dangerous to cross from the harmony Grove cemetery side of Grove either on foot or in a vehicle.

Sign was left behind about a month ago after some utility repairs

Occupant of one of the houses in the area has placed a “No Parking” sign in front of their year threatening towing of anybody who parks there. Obviously not a city/state sign as it has a smiley face on it, and takes up one of very few parking spaces in the neighborhood.
