  • 37 English Street Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem

The signs on English St do not adequately show that both sides of the street are resident only parking for the following reasons:
    (1) going toward the warf, the signs on the left side do not say "resident only parking"
    (2) on the other side, the signs have unidirectional arrows that could be interpreted to mean that the area of resident only parking is intermittent while the town code specifies that it is continuous along the entire street

Signs need to be replaced with ones that adequately show that parking along both sides is restricted to salem residents along the entire street

  • 347 Essex Street Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 - City of Salem
Can the "no parking here to corner" sign in front of 34 Botts Court be moved closer to 347 Essex Street? It's very hard to see cars when trying to turn onto Essex Street from Botts Court.

  • Marlborough Rd & Sutton St Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
No heavy trucks are allowed on Marlborough or through peabody streets yet semis and gravel trucks are coming from peabody despite all streets showing nothing over 10000 lbs unless it's bus or garbage truck I believe marbourough toward people is posted. Perhaps peabody pd or state police could take notice. After all state handles truck issues.
  • 11 1/2 Mason Street Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
Traffic signals needed on mason street! I currently have a man sitting on my front stoop talking to the police and about to get into an ambulance because he was hit on his moped on Mason St. Myself and neighbors have made many requests to have some sort of stop signs, speed limit or speed bumps put out but nothing has been done. Someone was literally hit and I am hoping this is the wake call for the town to do something. We have children that live on this street and pedestrian that frequently cross. I myself have almost been hit by a car speeding down the block.
  • 197 Essex Street Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
We need more signage like to this - but citing the city ordinance and referencing the ‘no amplification zone’. the signs need to be posted at eye level along Front Street alley, the right-of-way behind Salem Hotel, and in Derby Square.
  • 198 Loring Ave Salem MA 01970, United States - City of Salem
Slow down sign would suffice but it seems the city of salem doesn't really care that this is a neighborhood full of children because this request has been made multiple times and no one responds or takes action.
  • 255 Jefferson Avenue Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 - City of Salem
Resident stated they would like to have a no parking request closer to their driveway. When they try to get in or out of driveway, it is difficult to do so when a car is parked close.
  • Brown St & Brown Street Ct Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
