  • Union St Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 - City of Salem
Please add Union Street street name sign and One Way sign. There is no street identification or sign to identify the traffic pattern.
  • 56 Mason St Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 - City of Salem
Resident called in about the tree blocking the speed sign. She asked if there was any way to move the sign further up and away from trees.
  • Planters St Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 - City of Salem
The parking signs as you drive down Planters street from East Collins to Bridge street are white and unreadable. They need to be replaced with signs that you can read especially during October. Planters Street is narrow and readable signs are critical and required. Thank you.
  • 50 Hanson Street Salem, Massachusetts, 01970 - City of Salem
New sidewalks were completed 3 weeks ago. Street sign post with the Keon Square memorial sign is still laying on the guardrail.
  • 374 Essex St Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
The 15 minute parking zone in front of the library has a temporary October parking restriction sign on its pole. I realized tonight I didn't know to interpret the combination of the signs, since their time periods overlap. Is the 15 minute zone effectively replaced by temporary resident parking? I recommend (1) the green and white sign be expanded to include a Sunday period, and (2) the yellow temporary sign be revised for this one location to not overlap the library 15-minute zone's times.
  • Bridge St & Howard St Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem

Can we please add a signage signaling that both lanes can turn left and right lane can turn right also etc or go straight into the apartment complex.

Bridge street gets backed up so badly with traffic especially with the October traffic. As some people stay all in left not knowing the can also be in the right lane when it's empty to turn also left. This can help flow / move traffic congestion at a faster pace.

  • Sargent St Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
Looks like someone hit a sign on Sargent Street. Maybe the video monitoring system mentioned on said sign captured the accident?
  • 64-74 Federal St Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
Is it possible to get a no turn on red at Federal and north street on the courthouse block? The visibility is poor due to trees and plantings, cars constantly honk at cars not turning on red. Recently cars have been going around cars by jumping the curb to get out onto north street. Drivers need to realize that from federal people can also go straight down the ramp to bridge street and not just right at north street. It has escalated to people yelling at each other when cars won’t turn either and seems to be through traffic off Washington trying to skip the light at Washington and bridge street exacerbating the problem. If federal at the courthouse also had speed bumps to slow the traffic and make it a less appealing “time saver” cut through it would minimize the aggression at the intersection.

14-22 Shillaber St Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of Salem
Is it possible to put a solar powered speed limit sign on Shillaber St. near the Burke St. intersection? It is a narrow street and it is poorly lit. There are individuals driving 40mph plus, with a near head on collision accident occurring very frequently. This is near home owners vehicles between Shillaber and Burke Street and at the very ends of Shillaber St. Also, this makes walking with small children or pets a hazard. Some areas between Shillaber and Burke St. have little to no sidewalks. Making it that more dangerous with the high speeds and poor lighting.

AT THE INTERSECTION OF OAK STREET AND FLINT STREET, THERE IS NO STOP SIGN. A WOMAN LEAVING MY PARKING LOT TODAY AT LANDRY AND ARCARI RUGS WAS HIT BY A TRUCK WHO JUST CAME OUT ONTO FLINT STREET. THE DRIVER TOLD POLICE IT WAS NOT HIS FAULT SINCE THERE IS NO STOP SIGN ON OAK STREET. THERE HAS BEEN A NUMBER OF ACCIDENTS WITH MY CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES AND DRIVERS EXITING OAK STREET.
