A monument that attracts 100s of tourists daily on foot being nearly ran over and wrong way drivers every single day. Been asking for 5 years, already had two vehicles damaged and one totaled due to the cities negligence. The city is here every single day emptying the trash barrels but can't spare 5 minutes and hang up a sign or two that could potentially save a life or someone's property.

City Street SignsAbrir61-99 West Ave Salem, MA, 01970, USA - City of SalemWe have lived in this neighborhood for almost 9 years now, and frequently walk our young children and dogs down west Avenue to Forest River Park and throughout this neighborhood. Shouldn’t there be some sort of traffic sign at this intersection? Should there at least be a yield sign? Should there be a stop sign? It seems really dangerous to me that people sometimes just come flying down into forest river park or flying down and making a quick right turn onto West Avenue. Thank you for considering this. -
Other - City IssuesAbrir1 Turner St Salem 01970, United States - City of SalemThere have been a lot of large trucks trying to drive down Turner Street this year. Some of them have been towing trailers with large boats or trucks carrying moorings. This morning, a truck carrying moorings had to back half way down Turner Street after the driver realized he made a mistake. I’ve also seen your buses turn down Turner Street on their way to the House of Seven Gables. I believe most of these vehicles are using GPS to get to the marina near the ferry landing. Could we put signs up restricting truck traffic on Turner Street unless it is for a delivery on the street and/or reclassify the street so GPS stops directing traffic down Turner Street?

Very grateful for the new lights at the intersection. But there are still a few things that need to happen to avoid head on collisions.
1) stop sign removed from Wilson Street
2) no parking sign on Wilson Street (from the light to about 3 car lengths up Wilson Street on both sides)
And the biggest one of all...
A "No turn on red" sign for the cars on Wilson turning right onto Jefferson.Almost saw a head on collisions bc someone turned right on red onto Jefferson.

I am now opening it again as a 2nd person making this request. Not sure if first person was clear enough, but almost had a tragedy tonight and that is all I am trying to prevent.
With the basketball tournament going on, and tonight, Swampscott came to play Salem in baseball, people are coming to the park who aren't familiar with the area. They don't know how to get to the parking lot when they see the do not enter sign, and come in anyway. Tonight, there was a little girl on a scooter that was almost hit because she came darting out between cars. Yes, the girl should not have done that, but she wasn't expecting incoming traffic either. The last person put the picture up on the old ticket, I added just TWO example signs (only need one) that can help in this regard.
I am just trying to prevent another Ryan Brennan like tragedy, or the tragedy on Fort Ave earlier this summer. One sign.. thats all that is needed.

The spacing of signs here makes it dangerous to cross from the harmony Grove cemetery side of Grove either on foot or in a vehicle.
