    Catch basin between Swampscott Road and Barcelona on southbound side of route 107 completely obstructed causing issue with flooding and bike path. While I realize it is a state highway, the city should still be responsible for safety of highway to get it cleared.

    My neighbor at 22 Nichols St. Installed a sump pump I assume and the discharge pipe runs from inside the house to the edge of the sidewalk so whatever discharge water comes out across the sidewalk then down the gutter on the street. This has caused a unsafe ice buildup across my driveway and my neighbors driveway at 18 Nichols St. Is there regulations about sump pump discharge running down a city street just because of this happening? Please help it has created a unsafe situation let alone possible contaminated water running down the street. I have lived here 27 years and have never encountered this problem before

    I know my neighbor at 4 Emerald has reached out. I’m at 6 Emerald and have reach out to our ward councilor who said to contact the engineer Dave who is no longer there. The water issue is up in front of my home where the water pool as street is flat. I believe a catch basin needs to be installed further up and not in front of 5 Emerald where i noticed marking.
